Excellent as always in both content and presentation style. And yes the mist in the mountains is dangerous, it can play tricks on the mind, especially if you are on your own. So be extra careful and trust your navigation system over your logic because it is ignorant of the mist.

Thank you for the 'Chained Elephant' story. I am at a point in life where I need to break free of being scared to do my months long bicycle journey. I so want to go but I keep talking myself out of going, it is a vicious cycle. I'll get out ... sometime, hopefully soon ;
I know that cycle all too well.. I am so sure you’ll get on and go on that trip when the time is right! And maybe it doesn’t even need to be a month long? (Sometimes, thinking my trip is a year long trip is too overwhelming so breaking it down to week trips makes it easy for my brain to see that as an attainable goal!)
