The thing about Blender and "can you change X UI thing" questions, is the answer is nearly always yes... Blender is open-source, so even if Blender doesn't allow an option, you can probably modify the code to make it do what you want... Probably even play Doom in it 😂
The real question is can you cange a given UI thing *without* editing the code or using other time-consuming/complicated methods.

Is this OS agnostic? Could it work on linux mint?
I don't think so, I wrote the code based on windows, I have no idea how the folder structure would be for Linux or Mac.
I'd probably have to write a check to get what OS the user is running and run a slightly different file path.
