This is the OST to Double Dragon for the NES! But in my own form of Stereo! Which spreads the sound channels and adds a bit of echo/reverb. These mixes also do not represent true, original, or actual stereo that the NES has, this is just to make the music sound more clear and crisp, and is another way of listening to the greatness of 8Bit music. So enjoy this soundtrack in what I like to call, WiiGuy's 8Bit Stereo!! :D

To be a kid in the 80's, I think we were the luckiest ever. I was 13 when this dropped on the console. Arcade + home, I couldn't get enough! Good times.

Yessss! You can just envision some big-hair-band dude on stage with an electric guitar, dropping to his knees, wailing on it. He even does a sick slide. This has rock concert written all over it.
I grew up with the Sega Genesis version but I was always at my friends house as a kid playing the NES Double Dragon. There was just something about it that I loved so much. Playing it on the NES was magic.
Hearing this music takes me back to my childhood. There was no better time to be a kid in America growing up in the 80's and 90's.

Billy and Jimmy's Theme gets me every time! The "guitar solo" is so good! I love how they even made it sound like there's a "two-hand tapping" part!

Great music, great game. Brings back some nice memories from my early gaming days... First time I reached Mission 3, part 3, Linda's theme started to play and that got an impact on me. Menacing and sinister.

I played this game when it was cool. You start the game like this is the day... then when you finally beat it, you realize it wasn’t about beating it... it was about the journey... and the music.
Hands Down Double Dragon has the greatest Guitar Solos for a video game....even with the NES sound chip no less. Truly Epic!!!

This eternal soundtrack!! Despite the limitations of the NES, this version was extremely respectable and the quality of the 1v1 mode was unheard of at the time! This totally reminds of Saturday nights in Fowler, CA playing this at our friend's house! (We still love ya' Tim!! LOL) and your stereo conversion scores you...

Level 3 used to scare the crap out of me as a kid. The music and the guys hiding up in the trees. Those purple guys (level one boss) creeped me out too lol

Dude seriously, that reverb echo sound you added sounds WONDERFULL. (I know you just changed it to stereo, but since these sounds were made in MONO it sounds like this sweet as REVERB ECHO sound!!)

I remember when I use to? Hook my Nes to an old RCA Tv. My uncle who was in the military brought back a digital kenwood EQ reciever rated at 250 Watts. Hooked bose 601s? I believe. Boy it was so Cool.

The track that is missing from this soundtrack is the music that played the first time you faced Abobo, at the end of stage 1 in the arcade and Sega Master System versions. This is arguably the best track in the Double Dragon universe, and for some reason the NES copy of the game didn't get it. The Sega Master system version of the track is awesome.
