+jljsuk Agreed. Andy Summers was one of the first endorsers of the Boss DD-x Series pedals. Has been an industry standard live and in the studio ever since it's release to the public in 1984. Summers had a prototype DD-1, whilst the 1984 version available to the public was the DD-2. Great desert island delay, or in any climate on land or sea. Andy Summers was making sounds nobody (whose name wasn't Alex Lifeson) was making on either side of the mixing board before. Much less used in song. Very underrated cat, Mr. Summers.
I was at that show. Drove all of the way down from Eureka to see it. That was a great summer for music in the Bay Area, with Peter Gabriel at the Greek Theater a few weeks prior, and David Bowie a few weeks after.
