Quick was the legend whisperer, while Chillin was the baby whisperer.
Quick gg got babied up too like 10 sandygasts and a hand full of others like slowpoke bronzor elgyem noibat darumaka etc. Chillin caught more than he ran from so far I haven’t finished yet, but Chillin was skipping fully evolved mons while quick gg was forced to skip most of his bc it was a legend and then got baby after baby.

Loving the timed battles coming back again! Hoping we can get some of these sprinkled in now and then. Hoping for one with great balls or ultra balls only again. Loved seeing the strategy with the time and how many balls to attempt on mons!
I was gonna suggest same thing. That would give an added challenge based on how badly they want the pokemon vs how much longer they have.

Also Excadrill and Sandslash's stats are very different. Excadrill has amazing attack btw. 130 attack with decent speed and the sand rush ability is pretty op
I would like to see you two in a Pika-clone battle! Like this one, change up types but you CAN catch duplicates if they are a different type from the one you already caught.

I think not fully evolving without a constraining the numbers of encounters or skips is a good balance!
So idea for a video: 15mins, free for all on what to catch, all encounters are fully evolved, and plus 10sec for every doop. No catch limit to build a solid team so every encounter counts.
Quick should have just caught what he saw. A good pokemon is a good pokemon even if it has bad moves. Also, it's funny how they had ALL THREE Hoenn starters across their teams!

challenge: Catch a team of 9 random pokemon. When finished, flip a coin to determine the evolution state of each of the 9 pokemon. Heads= 1 evolution up. Example. A charmander who gets a coin flip heads will go up 1 stage to become a charmeleon. Tails = 1 de/evolutionary stage down. example a charmader who gets a coin flip tails, cannot go any lower but will be brought in full circle to a fully evolution state ie a charizard. another example is a heads on a charizard will bring it in full circle back to a charmander, and a tails on a charizard will be a charmeleon after going down by 1 stage. after doing this to the 9 randomly caught pokemon you can chose the 6 you like for battle. skip all non evolutionary pokemon in your random encounters for this challange

Video Idea: Fishing Contest: 6 rounds of fishing. Compare what is caught each round. The player who caught the tallest/heaviest mon gets to choose which of the two to keep for their team.
Could allow skips with additional rounds.

Challenge ideas for a new year:
Idea 1: Obtain 6 randomized pokemon using 6 different catching/encounter methods. Starter, overworld, hidden grass, fishing, tree shaking, and hatching an egg (or a dynamax den). One skip/redo per method.
Idea 2: Take screenshots of grass patches in game and throw them in a wheel. Spin the wheel and you get to catch one randomized overworld and hidden encounter and choose whether or not you want to keep them both or skip them both. No evolving encounters and maybe one re-spin or two max for a new area.
That was a fun one
