that spritzee legit had fair aura, misty terrain and misty explosion for the perfect combo lmao
Misty Explosion gains a 50% power boost when Misty Terrain is in effect. Which means that since Aromatisse also had Fairy Aura, Misty Explosion's power would be 199

Fight was a lot closer than I thought it would be! Probably could've gotten a W if Quick didn't just throw away his aromatise and used crush grip or at least set up with misty terrain first.

Yep, I thought the exact same thing. That Aromatisse definitely could have tanked one Sparkling Aria to set up the Misty Terrain. Idk if it could have survived two though, I think he wanted to be safe and make sure the explosion actually got to happen.

1. Whoever thought of this idea is a genius
2. There are 2 things I would’ve done differently as quick. First thing is for the sui sui pick I would’ve said would you rather have a water or steel type. Since Chilln just got the Kyogre he probably wouldn’t want another water type. And the second thing, I would’ve switched out silvally after doing half damage to tornadus so I could half damage kyogre too. That boi too tanky to leave unchecked lol

Using conversion into a pure dragon type would have been clutch
I got a wild idea for you guys, a spin the wheel for types challenge, with a twist. Flip a coin for mono or dual typed, then spin the wheel to see what type or type combo you get. Then, you gotta catch the first fully evolved Pokemon you find with that type combo. If the combo doesnt exist, spin again.
Body press does damage based on the users defense and not attack which is why it didn’t do anything with hitmonlee
Also if you used misty terrain then misty explosion the BP doubles and it hits hard

It's funny how they ask for Burning Jelously to burn when it's a turn after boost and for Sparkling Aria to cause burn as if it was Scald.
I get the confusion on Mat Block (it only works turn 1 like Fake Out) but the other moves had the descriptions right.
I think we’ve seen a few chains from base pick to super-effective choices. It would be fun to see a not-very-effective chain for a team, or a team working backwards from “it doesn’t affect this type of Pokémon”. All the best! Thank you for all the content when I work night shifts. 🙏

Challenge idea: Random 6 pokemon/movesets as well as random 6 abilities (from a generator, etc) But you get to allocate which ability goes to which pokemon on your team! Adds a bit of strategy to the randomness :)

Video idea:
Have a full box of Pokémon except keep 10 spots empty in the box. Have a diverse set of available Pokémon in the box from babies to legends. Each player takes turns selecting a number equal to a set number in the box. If you land on a Pokémon you can either keep it or skip it(2 skips max). If you pick an empty slot in the box, you get forced any Pokémon from the box from the opposing player. (Skips aren't allowed on the forced Pokémon)

Roll a D6
Whatever the number you must random encounter a Pokémon with something pertaining to that number (E.G. roll a 3 and random encounter a Tauros which you catch because it has 3 tails).

Roll 6 sides die to determine feature of Pokémon to capture

Considering the pokemon, you fought very good. Either way, a challenge suggestion : 3 random starter pokemon and you only know the weight of the pokemon.
I just wanna pop in and say I love your challenges but double battles have so much more strategy involved. I know with randomness it can be hard but I think double battles would give more options in the future. I would love to see you redo old themes / ideas with double battles.

From my research, Mat Block only works on the first turn the user is out (like Fake Out and First Impression).

Matt Block is like Fake Out. It only works on the first turn a pokemon is in play.
Quick really clingy on Flatter instead, and missed opportunity on Mud Shot for some chance of accuracy fell.
Love the challenge idea, but I feel like getting to see the abilities and move sets of each other's pokemon ahead of the fight ruins the random of it. Seeing the thundurus having water absorb for example takes away the chance of a water move being used on it.

I feel like the routes get neglected. Maybe a spin the wheel to decide a route, and you have to catch a Pokemon from that route. Really curious what randomized sprites in routes look like. Routes only have a few pokemon each, so it could be great variety and not just legends.
