Man, the bullet in the hand scene looked so painful. It looked real. Also the Minen sign was perfect. I love how emotional this, it hit me hard when the flash forward to the main character as an old man happened. Over all, beautiful work
@@Sintonizarproductions I am curious, you said the next project will have correct uniforms. Does that include the eagle patch over right breast pocket, or on left arm for SS?
Wow this brought back memories. A friend of my family was a B-17 pilot, his plane shot down over France. He only had to hide out for 3 weeks before the Resistance got him out. He insisted and went back to flying missions within months. The amazing thing is he told the whole tale while playing cards at our house sometime back in the middle 1960s. God bless all those who unselfishly gave us the future, especially my father and uncles who bore the scars of war till the day they died. And btw, I thought you did a damn fine job with this film.
0:01 Through first minute of film I hear music which also appear in Android game "Trenches" about soldiers fighting on World War I English-German frontline. Really! You can check this if you want, too! :))
It was just a fragment, I'd agree that it would go straight through. I just really wanted to pull a fake bullet out using prosthetics. Edit: it was actually a piece of an acorn that had fallen.
And want all the police shows banned even the animated ones. What a world we live in. We plan to show the true stories of history. For we can never learn from it unless we tell it truthfully.
@@Sintonizarproductions as a one-man-show, not bad but just a couple of small points.... chose a balding old man for your next portrayal of a veteran..... since you clearly have that genetic trait and people don't suddenly grow back a full head of hair as they age. Second point: a high velocity round (as from a sniper rifle) will never lodge in a hand. It will instead go right through and fracture at least 3 finger bones as it moves through the hand making it impossible to use the hand at all for at least 6 or 7 weeks. basically, think hand stuffed with inflamed hamburger and very painful and 3 fingers totally useless. That's what a bullet through the hand hand does. Thanks for making this video/movie ... very good work for one person.

@@wehavehugeproblems4857 the uniforms arent the greatest. It was our older work. We've been improving our uniforms for more accuracy. Also yes sadly history will always repeat itself.
So plainly impossible! No sniper would be that stupid: first to miss that badly, second to fall into a spike trap that was built just under his nose without him realizing something was set there... Plus, a bullet lodged in a hand would cause that much damage as to disable that hand completely unless being treated in a hospital. Then, back in 1943 radio transmitters were really heavy, not like what they show... Lighter ones could have been only morse code transmitters and only those ones could have had longer range.
I doubt there was a pilot who took on a whole SS division either. The movie is based off a book about a cold war pilot who is shot down by the Russians and evades them. Sometimes movies aren't based 100% on realism.
Your story is ok. However, ( and I know how everyone always hates to criticize but just trying to help you here ) first, why continue showing “France 1943”? Unless it’s the date ( 12th, 19th, 21st and month ) that changes you really don’t need to flashing it on the fade in. Second, the timeline is very unrealistic, meaning I can’t see any flyboy camping out in the woods for that amount of time especially not trying to continue onwards to a town somewhere where he can get back to his unit somehow. Third, when you said he had been gone a YEAR AND A HALF, if he had run across any of our fighting boys that has someone of a high rank in their squad, platoon, regiment whatever, and he filled them in on who he was and how long he’s been out there “fighting with resistance” instead of making his way back to wherever, he would be charged, and court martialed for desertion ( sorry that’s just the way it is). Because the high ranks would never believe he couldn’t get in touch with the military for over a year. A month, two, maybe even three. But a year and a half??? The resistance would have contacted the military for him with all their contacts and radios they have. So, just think about stuff like that in your story. Overall the story was ok
Yeah the reason for the date is inhad made 10 episodes individually before I added them together. As for him being gone for so long it was more of the story then anything. If I made it realistically the story would have been done in a few films. Since he most likley would have been killed in the first episode as the Heer where very good shots. I do appreciate ti critiques though. It helps us grow as filmakers and story tellers.
I think it would have been far better without the cheesy CGI. I could have gone with a lot of other stuff, but he did seem to leave himself exposed. I know nothing because I've never been in battle, but my ass would be down, especially if there was no one else there to tell me to get it out in the open.
Yes, I should have taken out the CGI I'm not very good at it. I'm much better using practical effects. Also he was a pilot so he most likley had only basic level training compared to a infantry men. Thanks for you comment! Its always helpful to learn what we can improve on.
