    Check your BIOS , most of the BIOS have Wake on LAN , just find it , should be in the Power Options , click ON and that's it , good luck

    App recognises my wired pc but no go / edit, works in hibernate only, better than nothing/ update/works now even with complete power cut, already forgot what exactly I did 🤗

    Why we need to create this firewall rule ?
    I think's WoL use UDP ? And also isn't outcomming but incomming to the network card no ?

    When i press on my network adapter it doesn't have power management (yes i enabled wake on lan in bios and my network adapter have magic packet enabled but no power management)

    Wow. You tell us to set up a Firewall rule AND install Simple TCPIP services, yet Windows OS is switched off when the WOL is sent. Why ?

      Your monitor should automatically wake when your pc does, I doubt it has anything to do with pc startup method.

    I cant get it to work. Could it be that I am using a switch therefore it doesnt work? Followed all the steps, enabled in bios, made the rule etc etc but no luck.

    When i go to my network adapter l cant check the box to wake Up devices. Is just Gray and unchecked. Any solutions

      Try enabling wake on lan in bios but if you can't see wake on lan option in bios menu. means your pc does not support wake on lan. this is the last way you can try

      You need to choose an Ethernet network card only for having this tab displayed.
      You must also run Device Manager with Administrator's rights.
      Maybe check for your network card driver. Else your network card might be not compatible.

      This is why you have to use a static ip. Your ip is contantly change every hour.
      Find a setting on you router that says DHCP settings and set a single ip with the mac adress of the pc

      That's not how LAN works.
      It literally stands for LOCAL Area Network.

    I followed all the steps, Bios, Device manager, windows firewall,... all is ok. But when i use my phone to turn on the computer, it doesn't work :l although PC's online/ offline status still works fine

    i Notice now i can wake pc and screen only when put computer to Hibernate only...otherwise i wake up only pc and screen stay off ...any solution please?

      Sorry there is no solution for it you will have to manually turn on your screen because when you shutdown your PC your screen turns completely off

      Problem: My server is Desktop PC which is connected wired. Wake up LAN is successful. Now I want remote connection of server. For that I am using Laptop which is connected wireless. Now server has to be connected wirelessly too. When my PC (server) reboots, It only connects wired. Unable to connect wirelessly automatically. I tried all possible solution. No sucess. Can we have both connection when PC reboots? Can you try and make video if succesful?
      Sorry for big explanation of problem along with requirement... :)

      And he doesn't even mention this....Silly Author also tells us to set up some silly firewall rule when the PC is turned off, Windows isn't even running!!! He also doesn't mention the BIOS settings required!
