Im back in my old city of New Orleans!
We have lunch at Stanley's restaurant in the French Quarter and we end the evening at Emeril's restaurant.

This city helped me overcome my homesickness for the city of my birth, Amsterdam. I saw it a year after emigrating to the USA and I felt I was in Europe again. The music, the food, the people !!

My husband and I met in New Orleans 14 years ago! It's our favorite city. We try to visit every year. We live in North MS and it's not too far to drive there. I love jambalaya at Mother's and bread pudding at the Gumbo Shop!!

New Orleans is mesmerizing and draws you into the culture of the city. When you’re there you forget about life and where you’re from. The food is amazing, and the city and restaurants are always busy. You have to get into venues early to enjoy the true culture of New Orleans. Also, New Orleans is very loud, always.
Glad you were able to make it back there and show Luke. Perhaps, you and Wat and the children can visit within 2 years or sooner.

@@multa7053 It all depends on what kind of food one eats in the US/UK. BTW have you ever tried food from Penang Island? You should cos it's one of the best in the world.
@@eagse No, I'm Italian and I mainly eat food that's from Italy in some way. But I really like Asian food and especially Thai food. Chinese food is the only Asian food thing I don't love because it contains lots of flavor enhancers. But sadly exploring Asia is quite hard at the moment. Just Thailand and Indonesia are possible for entry I guess. I just don't like the English way of cooking which is pretty similar in Australia where I was. Everything there is some strange sauce and nowhere is real bread. Australia and US don't have real bread. They don't even know better.
