- Cheap easy to use radios for short range community or group radios. These would be great to have for short range to keep in contact with friends and family during an emergency situation. These radios can be found in the camping section at walmart. I hope you enjoy the video. We still have a PO Box for the channel addresses are below. ENJOY!!!

Cute little radios. I use them for talkarounds
Our SHTF group has scouts that will carry these and binoculars. Not the best, but very good to have for security.
Yep that's what I figured as well very short range.
if there is no docking station you go to the store and buy two wall chargers and
two set's of batterys charge them up and your good to go as this guy will not
be ready when the s h f but I will be ready as I carry extra batteries
in my every day carrie bag.
Tip: FRS allows 2w max on SOME channels. Get a *_GMRS_* license.
Already have a GMRS now, I waited til the price went down.
Or don't. The FCC doesn't actually care and most people use more than that with Baofengs on GMRS. I pirate commercial frequencies instead.

I baught a couple of the cheapest walkies. Just incase shtf. Mine is pretty expensive but I baught a couple too pass out to my neighborhood. We can watch each other's backs or just talk to each other for intertainment.

Yes I did like the table idea Corey but gray or white whatever you're using it's not really working real well he should use a cloth over it like a red or some you know bright or an orange something like that it will work a lot better

I have a question about neighborhood watch .....do the folks get deputized or officially recognized in any way? I would want to be deputized if I were doing it ....
Pro's: with rechargable batteries, they're rechargable.
Cons: They diont carry the MaH as a alkaline battery, you would spend alot of time recharging.

If you buy decent ones they're about the same actually. Eneloop Pros have slightly higher capacity than energizer lithium.

so i have a question, in your opinion, which is the best gmrs handheld radio that isnt overly expensive since i want to get a 3-4 pack (also just got a new sub)
I would look into a gmrs version of a baofang or tidradio
BAOFANG radios are not part 95 sertifed by the F C C

Yes all FRS radios no matter the brand can communicate with eachother so long as they are on the same channel. Do your shopping you might find better ones then those. Tidradio TD777 is a good FRS radio as well it even has scamble feature. I invite you to watch that video on the Tidradio TD 777 review.

when the shit hits the fan my radio's will be doing the btalking my H T'S run 5 watts input too repeter AND my base will kick ass at 45 watts how about that you radios willberp at 1/2 watt and all prepers need to be with in two miles we work
repeters there 6 of them in three countys on emergency power you need to sit in the corner

Can u be any more Yankee than to resort to ‘you guy’s’ (pronounced (apparently) ‘you guizez’) because english lacks a specific 2nd person plural pronoun, and adding a possessive case invites abominations like that … all because you don’t trust “your” to function as plural, OR you just can’t bring yourself to utter “y’all’s” (although it seems to work just fine here in Texas). Do as you wish … having the world witness your using “you guyzez” in your videos is its own punishment, I guess…
