For $70 you could get the Anmbernic RG35XX-H, hook it up to the TV via HDMI, pair a couple Bluetooth controllers, and have better performance that runs circles around this easily.
If you could please provide a link
@@francorottier8221 I can't post links. It's on Anbernic's official website.
Wow...this mini-PC is so bizarre. It should have rocked all pre-PS1 systems, and for it to stutter playing SNES was weird.
Great testing. But when it was stuttering on Sonic I knew it was going to bad. I think this would make a great file server...maybe media server for movies in 720p.
s looking to purchase this for a little retro project I had planned. Then I saw the performance... yikes. Thanks for the video!
That's awesome
the most i would use that thing as is a personal home server
These are one of those products that are great for people who are terrified of places like eBay I guess. For around the same amount, you can have an actual tiny mini micro PC.
the audio skipping at 7:32 ouch
You may have mentioned it, but is that running upscaled or lagging at something close to a native resolution? Running Genesis upscaled to my tv's resolution bogs down my desktop PC. It'll run at native resolution on a potato. 🤷🏻♂️ 😝
Found the same minipc with diffrent name. Teclast n10 with intel n4000 ddr4 and win11 pro.
Nice
Newbie here. Want to build a Guerrila War GRS rotating 2 player build. Would like to ask for recommendations on a budget mini PC build that I could use MAME emulation. Would like to use launch box for a front end. Appreciate any advice.
If you only intend to play mame. You can use any windows PC, it really doesn't matter. I've tried putting mame on windows 95 back in the day and it ran perfectly fine. If you wanna play everything besides mame, get a Ryzen computer.
I think you have to overclock it to make it work better.
What is the best mini pc
Hey everyone
Hey!
it sound like it is having trouble running sonic as music is runnig slow
Hi 👋😊
I hope you kept the receipt 😅
👍👍👍 Good Test but the equipment itself is laughable
Emulation is the way to go.
Not on this thing. 😂
Light weight emulator/entertainment device for 90bucks ❤
audio was slow and distorted try same software on a proper computer and you see the difference
For ~$90~100 you can get used HP 705 G4 DM with Ryzen 5 PRO 2400G, 2x4GB ram, 256GB nvme. It will be better than this...
That’s some horrid performance, I can’t imagine why it couldn’t properly emulate even Mario 3. Almost every single game tested shows slowdown, and some very choppy audio.
🙄
Stu-stu-dder much? A used Dell or HP would be a much better choice
Rubbish cheap pc
