Great video...BTW, You never refuel an aircraft with passengers onboard, unless you have stairs provided at each door on the pilot's side and radio comms with the pilot until refuel is completed!. (I'm a Boeing 7 series and Air Bus 300 Series MX Tech and Ground Safety Officer)

Is there a specific lighting requirement during refueling too? Like having the beacon on at the gate etc. I feel like I read this somewhere but can’t remember where
@@TeezyThaKidd No, beacon lights are on prior to pressurizing hydraulics and also lets the ground crew know to remove the chocks

I am very appreciative of this tutorial, thank you! The autopilot gave me lots of trouble with excessive bank angles, not following track, etc. The Deadzone fix did the trick!

Thank you very much it was a really enjoyable experience. Although I have flown the 787 a fair bit, I like to follow along and brush up on a few things. It doesn't go amiss to bring a bit of humor along because after all this is a game and we shouldn't take it too seriously.
it is just a game, but i do get frustrated when i turn on AP and it goes in circles, or AP just doesn't turn on lol
Brilliant tutorial, thank you so much! One question: At time 19:33 of your video, you explain how to transfer the ECAS displays between left and right (swop) so that you have the non-split view on the left ECAS, which is exactly what I wish to do. But for some reason, my swop between left and right does not remove the split, it swops them, but even though ECAS Right was not split before the transfer button was pressed, it still swops with a split on left.... I'm currently in flight and have tried all combinations, no luck. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
WOW....spot on tutorial, Thank you!!! Question....when I enter my SIMBRIEF flight plan the IRS being aligned its shows my to and from, but when I got to activate it it pulls ups some other flight plan I dont have! When I try to enter it manually I dont get any ref points!!! This only happens to the 787-10, all the others -9 and -8 work fine....

Great video, as always…. However, it seams the APU is locked in “on” position in the latest version from Asobo. Or is it just me?
Great video! I had one major issue though with decending. As you said you select the GS height and leave VNAV and LNAV on so it automatically starts to descend. I figured he decended with like 1000 fpm and nearly missed the airport, when I manually decended with V/S -3000 (lol) i arrived in time, but had to lower the speed with speedbrakes and things like that. Any idea what I've done wrong? Best wishes from EU
There is one thing that scared me about the longitude with this update is the flc button. At 180, atc cleared me to 260. I clicked flc and it reared up and climbed at 10,000 fpm like NOW, I thought it was me, then did the same from 260 to 390. It just jolts up at 10,000 fpm

Another great video! I learned a lot. But just a question if you don't mind but do not feel obligated to answer. I am having trouble with controlling the pitch of the aircraft even after many many sensitivity adjustments. The nose wants to pitch up and down regardless of what I do. I know my Logitech yoke is not considered to be the best by many but it was what I could afford at the time. If you prefer not to answer that's okay too or maybe point me in the direction of someone who may have dealt with this problem. Thanks again and keep up the great work. Have a great day.
Hi, is there any conflict between the fuel in heavy division mod and the fuel in MSFS weights?
If you input the flight plan using the default MSFS, is the plan no longer copied into the FMS? I also tried to load the SimBrief plan file into my plane, but it isn't copied into the FMS - am I missing something?
I see when you came back at cruise, your ALT was set at 30.02, and not STD as mentioned prior.

What is the difference between the normal 787 and the 787 freeware mod

Thanks for the manual! I thought you shouldn’t arm the speedbrakes for takeoff on Boeing aircrafts? Is it required for the 787?
In the documentation I found yes... However, after reading this I'm finding more conflicting information. So I need to dive deeper
@@OverkillSimulations In the PMDG 737s you get an alarm if you arm speedbrake for takeoff.
I’ve had the same issue with the A320 on Xbox, where it will just spin in a circle until I interrupt it. Any idea on the fix?

Hello everybody. Do somebody know how to do a Route offset (Lateral offset) in the B787?
Can someone please help me. The 787 does not work for me. Every time I try to start it up, it starts up for a bit then shuts back down and I can’t see anything on the screen.
How did you switch to the overhead panel?
Heavy Division mod is responsible for some pretty bad impact on 3rd party aircraft as it apparently overrides some default Asobo code that is not just on the 787 but also any other plane that leverages it - I've seen specific issues noted on the FlySimWare Cessna 414AW.

Brett what do ya mean specific issues with the FlySimWare 414AW? I have that same aircraft and was wondering.
@@azstratus1 I think you'd know it if you had the issue, so you're probably ok. From the reports, there were things in the cockpit that wouldn't work like the EFB woulnd't unstow and parts of the avionics stack wouldn't respond to button presses. I understand the Heavy Division mod has been (or is being) updated to address.

Hi, is there any difference in using P3D or MSFS for the b787? Which one would be better to use if you wanted the most realistic/reliable simulation?
For system depth, I would probably say P3D but if you’re wanting to look at pretty scenery from FL350+ as well as a decent aircraft, the MSFS 787 will do fine with the Heavy Division mod

@@justinkong6906 Honestly, upcoming AAU2 kind of invalidated my comment lol, we haven’t seen the EFB yet in the beta but if it’s any good, the two aircraft will be pretty similar in terms of quality and depth, it would just be up to you then to choose which model you want the, 787X in MSFS or whichever versions are offered in P3D

My 787 when load in it’s already on and that I can’t even turn it off, with both without and with heavy division mod. You know why?

If you explain what each function does, it's purpose and how it functions, your videos will be way more useful. The manual of the plane includes a walk through of the procedures.

This plane and mod are so broken for me. FL CH hardly works, VNAV sure as hell doesnt work, and my autothrottle light just pulses and flickers and rarely works as intended
Are you on the latest release? There is a dev release option as well

How to download 787?
The default 787 is part of the Premium Deluxe Edition.
Pay them $100 more for premium
Even the AI pilot crashes this "Dreamliner".

Only planes that work in msfs on Xbox is the a320 or a321 for airliners the others suck don’t waste your time
