Do you have any plans to do a video that's a little more advanced? For example, creating your flight in simbrief and inputting into to the FMC manually? I'd love to see something like that :)

Nice video. I like how you kept it simple. The auto pilot does work now for full auto landing. It even flares which is really nice. I think they fixed this in update 10. Hope to see you make a little more advanced tutorial on the flight planning with the fmc.

Splendid video! Thanks for being so detailed with this tutorial! I was really surprised at the end though, it was such a smooth landing. Have you not experienced the 787 bug where you lose pitch authority below 150 kts and the 787 being floaty in general?

Thank you glad this helped you out! As far as losing pitch yeah I have experienced it and when that ever happens autopilot always goes off so I can make the corrections. Typically I do not fly below 150 KTS on final anyway. There is float to it which is why a good approach is key. In this video I was actually a bit high on approach but yeah you just need to let that aircraft float and let the speed bleed off. Keep pulling back on the stick nice and gentle and you should get similar results :)

My default go to plane that I mastered is the Cessna Citation Longitude, I want to move into mastering the Dreamliner but it’s very intimidating at first glance. This plane looks incredible though
Just got used to Airbus, so this is a whole new language.
Have you had any issues that aircraft starts swaying left to right mid flight and also loses AP and starts doing circle while AP is engage? Im have that issue.
How would you set up all approaches and LOC while flying under IFR rules?

ryzen 5 RTX 2070 super 16gb ram. I cant remember if I was filming at medium settings or at ultra at the time but its most probably ultra. I have no mods in the game so its vanilla.

Question is setting up a flight plan in the World map menu i never get the arrival destination while i'm in the plane, the plan stops before the arrival airport (even though) i set it in the world map complete with waypoints, this plane confuses me.
9:39 is that the clue when you said when the dot goes up on line above then we can start turning base? Why?
because if I turn any sooner than that I find the planes decent to be too steep.

@@Decivye cool my 787 bounce up Down while taxi with fully fuel but when I dump some fuel to 22 percent the plane taxi fine lol that my bugs for the control lol and the auto pilot is broken after new update patch 14.6 after one hour or so plane turn off auto pilot by it self

Hi Decivye. All of a sudden I can't upload Simbrief into a32nx MCDU anymore. When I click on OPTION, then on Simbrief it shows my pilot no. instead of my Simbrief username. Then when I go MCDU,ATSU,AOC and INT DATA REQ, it loads the data from Simbrief. When I go to INIT page and click on INIT REQUEST it says UPLINK INSERT IN PROG. When I go to F-PLN page, it does not bring in the flight plan but near the upper left key it says in blue PPOS. Can you pls. help me. Thanks in advance, Ray.
How do you engage reverse thrust after landing please ? Btw great video
thank you glad you enjoyed it! I had mine set to 2 I honestly forgot the default :(
With the throttle at idle, pressing and holding the F2 function key (that’s the sim’s default shortcut key) will start the reverse thrust. To turn off reverse thrust, push the throttle out of idle and quickly put it back to idle. At least this is how it’s done on the Citation Longitude.

Sorry but I have to say that if you intended to do that for beginners you could have shown where the buttons locations were along the video. The cam was fixed all the way through the recording as you mentioned the processes but I couldn't guess where you went clicking around the panel.

Nope, when they’re both disengaged you’re on control of everything on the aircraft

i have the 787 on xbox series s , start from gate, but my plane doesnt move after turning on engine, the engine % stays at 1%. Anyone knows how to fix it?

I don't have problem with approach when i start my flight from the runway but when i start it from parking and im turning on engines manually it can't hold approach speed with flaps over 20 and crashed. I ve tested this 100 times. Idk whats going on have i forgotten about something that is turned on by default when u start with engines turned on from runway?
Ive never encountered any issues on my end so far. My two boeing 787 videos should get it up and running I guess just make sure you dont miss a step.

I have premium deluxe edition and the 787 there does not allow me to do anything. Is the problem at the beginning, when I start the sim, after choosing the plane, I have to choose the starting and ending airports?? Once it the jet, I can’t change anything…
Done it correctly but the glide slope and localiser don’t appear so I have to be close to the destination airport ???
if you are too far out the GS and LOC will not be captured by the aircraft :)

So much automation makes ILS landings quite boring now. Good in the real world, but not for flight sim. It was more fun when you had to select the correct OBS for the runway heading, set up the ILS frequency.
haha it is what it is as time goes on I feel its going to be even more easy.
@@Decivye Still software errors for the Cesena Longitude. Every time the throttle is closed at any altitude, the AI insists on calling 'Landing gear' - at 35000ft !!
Also a gentle uncommanded roll to both left and right in level flight.
before you learn how to fly, need to deals with all those bugs of the aircraft 😥😥

@@Decivye I really would like to do it myself! Unfortunately I don't have the right hardware around... I clicked on it because I wanted to see how they implemented the FMC in the sim. But you didn't talked a lot about that... so this is maybe why I am disappointed...
@@ferrocen Read the title and listen to what I say in the beginning of the video. This is a beginners guide for new flight sim players who are just getting into the game.....I disclosed this. Does the title say advanced tutorial on FMC?? No it does not. It clearly says it on the title and I even mentioned it at the start of the video this is fore new flight sim players who probably wont have any knowledge to the advanced stuff.....I am not at fault that you got baited into watching the video because I disclosed it fully. So I say your comment is bullshit and you talk a lot of shit.
