- In this vlog, I study as I prepare for my GI/Pulmonology/Metabolism final medical school exams! EEEEEEK!! But we got this 🧑🏼💻🎧✨
If you don't already know me, my name is Ethan, and I am a first-year med student here at UCLA. In addition to being a full-time med student, I'm passionate about community-building, public health, and writing. Also, as part of my quest to live simply and minimally, I live out of a self-converted campervan! 🚐🤠
I have three goals with these weekly videos:
1. To inspire future generations of young people
2. To reflect deeply on my new life as a medical student and grow into a more compassionate, disciplined, and intentional individual
3. To capture my experience and share it with family and loved ones back home

Filming Advice: Turn off HDR is not need it. Plus is much easier to edit on a computer if you do. One more thing is not related towards filming with your phone Sweetgreen is my favorite restaurant.

Hi Ethan, good luck with your finals! You're gonna crush them! Just wondering if you are planning to take your step 1 after ms1 (before clerkships) or after core clerkships?
Hey! Thanks for the good luck wishes. I still don't know exactly when I'll take step. I think in the next few months I'll start getting more serious about my step 1 studying and take it from there.
