I feel like this says more about the official video than the coaster.

The fact that it _is_ so complex and advanced for an entry that came out in 2002 and only _now_ we're discovering its secrets is a tribute to Chris Sawyer and his development team of geniuses. Always humbled to play this game.

So far, I have seen this featured on Tweakers.net, nu.nl (a national Dutch news website) and today, I was at work with Qmusic on, and they actually phoned you! (Funnily enough, it was the first time I heard you speak Dutch!) You're going places, young Marcel!
(Minor niggle: OpenRCT2 is pronounced as it's written; that is: the RCT part is pronounced as three letters, not as an abbreviation for "RollerCoaster Tycoon". Ah well, I was very happy with the shout-out!)
I love how he has an exit path for the sake of continuity as if any computer actually survives being on long enough for anybody to complete it.
On the flip side, if this ride were launched on upload day (today as I write this comment) it would take until September 27, 2064 to complete.
By that time, I will be 71 years, 9 months, and 2 days old. I hope this video is still up then so I can see how my life changed from 26 to 71 years old... while the peeps on this roller coaster would have been on one ride the whole time.

This video itself was a roller coaster ride... first you see the giant track and you're like "Yup that's gonna take forever", then it goes backwards and you're like "Wow I can't believe it's gonna take even longer", and then there's the first big twist when it doesn't even stop in the station, and THEN the big reveal about the mousey coaster.. what great pacing, hahah. You rival AAA movies with your storytelling

Marcel is some kind of eldritch, tantalian horror entity in the RTC universe, making what should be the ultimate fun and only raison d'etre into an eternity of dull torture.
I like how this has basically become an anti-speedrun. Pretty soon, we will be shaving off half-clicks from scenario completions. If you make another "LowClick%" video, I will be the first to join you in competing for the lowest amount of clicks.

If you increase the minimum waiting time of the 'Very Long Junior Coaster', it will even take longer to finish this ride. Tadaaa! I just figured out how to build even a longer roller coaster! :-)
The concept of being on this coaster for twelve years messes with my head more than the time concepts in Interstellar.
If you're being magically kept alive there should be a screen on the wild mouse showing the progression of the junior coaster. Imagine the reactions of the guests when it reaches the end for the first time and starts rolling backwards. also the most annoying song is playing on a loop. Bonus: The exit from the junior coaster leads to the entrance of the wild mouse.
why not buy a powerful mini computer, and keep it running on that with its own battery and everything
I cant even make a basic rollercoaster. Let alone finish the ones in the park where you have to finish building the 5 rollercoasters. This is amazing.
