For today's in depth video on the Integra project, we go inside and completely gut the interior to get rid of the ugly brown and make some big changes. The goal is to have one of the nicest Integra interiors ever, and so far the road has not been easy but has been very fun! Love your channel David! Just a tech tip for taking seats out with rails. Put some tape on the ends of the rails so if you’re clumsy you won’t scratch your paint 👍

Kool look!! I have a black interior but I like this look way better. I'm not familiar with flocking. Can you do different colors, make a two-toned look if I wanted? I think that would be pretty neat to see. Looking forward to seeing it all back together.

did you sprayed on any adhesion promoter or plastic primer before painting the plastic bits black? or you used special kind of paint to stick on plastic parts.

Flocking is not suede, suede is a sheet of material, trust me flocking ends up looking tacky and very blotchy. Get a sheet of suede and wrap it instead
What kind of paint did you use? And what was that powder coat?
I have a 2K5 RSK-S (A-Spec), "Penny" is Blaze Orange (without the body kit) ;-)
What is the flocking? Is that how you get the suede feel? Can you link the products you used

What did you paint the dash with before you started fllocking?
I'd also like to add then when you're taking the big nut off the steering column for the steering wheel to leave it threaded on a bit then break the wheel loose so you don't yeet it into your face when it's stuck
what sand paper did you use to sand the trim pieces?

Hey man was wondering what the flocked dash actually feels like? is it soft or is it sort of rough like sandpaper kinda looks like it on video.
It should be somewhat soft if it's applied properly

Yeah totally Flock everything you possibly can and paint as little you can get away with.
The Flocking will leave a far superior quality finish to the inside.
I'd to the door cards too and change the fabric in the door cards to type R style red or even Thatdudeinblue style blue.
How long did it take for it to dry?
Can you do my integra next. I got same interior color. We both got wire issue underneath the steering wheel.

miata low power,great handling, reliable,cheap to fix,great drift car can be upgraded to be a great track car,and they're fairly cheap with the left over money you can put some power adders but since its your first car you should wait on that lol
they also have lots of engine swap options
