Also what people dont realize is that djing is 80% preparation, before you even touch the Decks you need to add queue points to your tracks, modify the grid so its matches with the beat, running it through mix in key if you want to get the keys and then organize all your music. Then finally you can load that USB into a cdjs or controller. Good djing is important!! So good shit CROSSFADER
Its amazing how many people comment this video like dah dude that's not how you mix tech house, as if they had half of the skills shown here ITS SUNDAYDJSKILLS guys... it's obvious that you ain't gonna mix tech house like this at a tech house party and even if he did i would fking applaud him. He is just showing off some skills AS THE HASHTAG ALREADY SAYS -.-
@@nnrmnlg It's just for people learning, like me, to see how it's done, we dont care about the overall mix result, we want to understand how to do this and that so we can use it in our own mix. Do you really think he would mix like this in a live show ? ...
@@nnrmnlg No it's not. This isn't for you the clubber, this is for us the DJ. No one wants to hear 8 minutes of standard house transitions on youtube dude, you can go anywhere for that.

I love my Pioneer XDJ RX2! You have great skill and there is a lot to learn from watching this video! My DJ style is also very unique and I have mastered the mix and mashup in House music, but clearly I still have much to learn in the effects department. Thank you for your sharing your set.
I've had my RX2 for a few years now, and I'm realizing that I don't use half of the features thats being displayed in this video 😅 (like that beat loop). Inspiring!
This incredibly impressive mate! Thank you for sharing hours of free content that has helped me immensely. I would love to see some of the haters below try and pull of some of these moves. Easier to type shit on the keyboard than pull off these moves on the decks. You're a legend, keep it up :)
Generally agree, and as a new DJ who primarily spinz house this is all very dazzling, and I can see using it sparingly. But for the most part it's all about the groove. I still wanna learn all this tho!
What i learned is if you have a crowd pls use rarely beat influencing effects like stutter! And just subtil then because it destoys the groove of the track.
This guy is like 100 times better than all of the professors in the comments talking about shit... Bet you guys use only the faders and sync your tracks - talkin bout "tHiS iSnT thE GenRe To be UsInG sO mAnY EfFfFecTs"
Why do people come on here to mug or slate other off for their dj skill why not post a vid of you djing and she how good your skillz are djing isnt easy and is an ART of the person spinning the decks
Track selection is kinda good but the mixing is awful, too heavy on effects and filters. It's like he's on a rush to do everything and mix as soon as possible, also I personally don't like when people mix tracks instantly with the volume of each channel at 100% and etc...
Sorry for all the questions bro ! See this! Right the left wave should show EQ for the track on the left deck and the right for right deck yeah? Did do this, now it just has an overall EQ, so the EQ in both bars is the same. Did you know how to fix this ?
Nice One man! @crossfader What’s your fave pioneer all in one controller these days? Is this one still good? Thinking about this for my wife and your videos do a wicked job of selling it. Has anything superseded it yet?
Me too, but i think ddj 1000 is better, first of all for the price, than because it s a controller, so you need a pc, instead with the xdj rx2 you can use or not the pc, but you will always use it and never use touch screen

Crossfader tracklist please?
Crossfader dope mix man! Do they make the rx in a 4 channel?
What would be the next level up from the rx2? Any opinion on Numark?
Davide_Nigro_deejay yes for sure! Would love to know as well!
i realize it is quite randomly asking but does anybody know a good site to watch new tv shows online?

💯 agree! I do this before every set I DJ
Every DJ has their own style. Lot of haters out there. Nice little mix man.

Yeah but the "skills" he is showing is making the mix worse

Whatever some ppl say I learn so much from this. How to be creative using xdj-rx2. I totally appreciate it.
People just forget that DJing can also be fun. It doesn't have to be club transitions all the time, the DMC still exists

im a producer trying to make the transition to dj'ing. not easy at all tbh, but i think u can getaway with a pre-recorded set :))

Not the genre to do all this filtering, effects and looping to. Tech house is all about the smooth mixes, the groove. You can’t get down to this
J For Jack Very true 👍🏼
Agreed man, too much filters and effects just mix the songs and let them play..
agree.
100%
Generally agree, and as a new DJ who primarily spinz house this is all very dazzling, and I can see using it sparingly. But for the most part it's all about the groove. I still wanna learn all this tho!
Crazy technique right there ! Big fan of you're videos.
I’ve said it before.... only guy to ever make performance pads rock! Awesome!
What i learned is if you have a crowd pls use rarely beat influencing effects like stutter! And just subtil then because it destoys the groove of the track.
That Juliet Roberts vocal is a heater
Omg what a skillssssss !!!! Love it 😍 😊 😻 🥰
Love u2. 💘
a monster!!
4:48 how is it possible that you have both faders down, and the first song still that loud? Is this the roll effect - post fader? Then it's awesome.
Wow yes, tried this at home and it worked. Nice skills!!
It’s the aux

Really interesting use of the fx
A packet of peanuts is more tech house than this
persona250 yup.. pure garbage.
🤣🤣
This is worser than the pandemic

Intro 10/10
AWESOME DEMO AND MIX
Track selection is kinda good but the mixing is awful, too heavy on effects and filters. It's like he's on a rush to do everything and mix as soon as possible, also I personally don't like when people mix tracks instantly with the volume of each channel at 100% and etc...
I think the mix vids are made for showing what you can do with DJ Controllers. Nothin more..
Better then DJ Mag top 20 mate for sure
@@FSwiftDJ you have clearly never watched Don Diablo and listened to his technical ability
This video was made just to show what you can do with effects.
lollzz
Not bad but why use the roll on both the pads and mixer? Also why loop and cut it out and not line it up with the next song?
This is sick
omg so incredible skills ! very nice !
Just play music and enjoy, too many haters in this world 💪🏿💪🏿
A bit hectic for me, but thanks for showcasing the system 👌
Sorry for all the questions bro ! See this! Right the left wave should show EQ for the track on the left deck and the right for right deck yeah? Did do this, now it just has an overall EQ, so the EQ in both bars is the same. Did you know how to fix this ?
wow that is sick!
QUE CRACK🔥
How small are those jog wheels?
All these diehards in the comments lol 😂😂 i enjoyed the video, well played Crossfader ❤️🍻
what are the songs mixing at 5.40 time mark it's OK I found the list
You make it look simple....good one
Does the xdj r2 need to be plugged in a computer ?
No it doesn’t
Nice One man! @crossfader What’s your fave pioneer all in one controller these days? Is this one still good? Thinking about this for my wife and your videos do a wicked job of selling it. Has anything superseded it yet?
This was a fire set
Awesome
Awsome skills, how come.... Even if it's not the "right" way to do, as some people say....
I love this guy!
I am undecided!
In your opinion is it better to buy the DDJ 1000 or XDJ RX2? I'm going crazy for this decision, please help me ..
Me too, but i think ddj 1000 is better, first of all for the price, than because it s a controller, so you need a pc, instead with the xdj rx2 you can use or not the pc, but you will always use it and never use touch screen
Imo I'd go for ddj1000. Cheaper and more like a pro setup.

i think you all judging too quick in my opinion this a video to see what can you do with XR2 (effect, mix, etc etc).
Great mix!
Muy buena bro' 😎exelente😁🎧saludos desde peru
That's not how you mix tech house... too much filtering and unnecessary looping, but nice work anyway
It's a demo mix...
that's not how YOU mix tech house. Obviously this is controller demonstration, and a DJ skill demonstration, he scratched in a house set ffs lmao
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Todos los videos son muy buenos 👍👏😎
god level
Good Mix :D
Tracklist please for the beginner
Is this RX2 better than my SX2? I know RX2 looks fancier but i think i can do more whit mine, if RX2 is better tell me why please.
Hector Lopez In me experience RX2 is better And Nice sustém for live mixes.
Just traded my DDJ-SX3 for the RX2. Gets away from the laptop and preps you for the industry standard CDJs
@@Richardlara397 just bought one for that exact reason! Love my DDJ-SX2 and Serato, but I need to get ready for them serious gigs
this guy is a fuckin machine monster killer holy shitttt
Music at 2:30

Yes, adjustable brake just above-right of the jog wheels.

Congratulations my friend you are a monster!!! Fucking hard🚀👽🖖

Too much echo for me :s
where them skills at?
You have great skills, and you know very well how to use the R2.
Just one: this is not *tech* house, this is House ;)
Maurizio Picone mmm nope this is tech house haha
Tomas Lobo mmm no this isn’t house or tech house, it’s like heavy edm if anything
@@KrazyKillers40 Heavy edm??? shut the fuck up :')
It’s definitely not tech-house, it’s like cheesy house, verging on EDM
