Hi! I had a doubt. Is it possible to adjust the in and out of a loop on a ddj-rb shut rekorbox? I can't find how
It would be so awesome if the videos had spansih subtitles 😍 I would buy it in a heart beat, though I manage english or try lol
I have an rr and it is amazing seeing someone show me exactly what the equipment I use is capible of. You've given me a lot to practice! Thank you!
WoW Dude, I came here to learn some techniques but was sucked into your mix! Good Stuff!

i think its all BS to get people to like his channel on all social media platforms.
OMG!!!
So great my man, lately you’ve been updating really good content! Im considering updating my beginner to intermediate course ;) If you update it to the ddj-400 I would consider it even more ;D
Yeah
I been DJn for a year now. I dont feel like I have a DJn style. Im thinking if to specialize on a genre now.
How did you avoid copyright for this mix cause I uploaded my first mashup on Saturday and no one can see it
❤
According to me, it’s cool to make courses contents for DJs for beginners.
But I’m a little bit confused on the way to mix on those mix videos. A lot of fast manipulations to put more tracks in a smaller duration, making richer mix.
And of course you demonstrate that everything can be done without sync function but we can’t see the face of the guy watching always the screen to see if the bpm match, of course you can’t mix as fast, with all this concentration, without preparing and watching the screen a lot.
So my interogation is, why showing this to beginners without learning them not to follow this because they will never have the level to follow without the help of function like sync or preparation ?
Well said, FAM !!! This the type of vid that would just demoralize the fuck outta some new commers. They think it's all made ON THE FLY, when it's actually ALL prepared routine and track selection. It's a cool showcase but in no way serves as a lesson for begginers UNLESS, you actually explain WTF's goin' on there and how'd you set it up to begin with .
Very true. This is a very rehearsed and prepared routine and not exactly what the educated person would consider DJing to be.
On top of that this even looks fake at times. At 1:02 you'll notice he is running the exact same vocal loop that he had on since the beginning....except now it ONLY says "My bassline"...the rest is suddenly not heard even though he has not hit a hot cue and you can see on the waveform it is the exact same vocal loop - so you should hear "heard it through the grapevine" etc - but you don't. Looks re-edited after the fact.
@@TheWxcvbn2011 True dat 'bout the loop. Now, aint tryina' diss on these hommies, cuz they for sure know how to fkin' DJ and i'm alaways watchin' their stuff for reviews and wht not, great shit most times, but, when shit hits the fan, you gutta point your finger at it cuz there's too many youngz wantin' to "be a CLUB dj" ( dont we all ) that gunna take this exactly AS IS and just fuck 'emselves up tryina replicate it in a crowdy venue :(
@@TheWxcvbn2011 nah, he's just using the crossfader to mute the loop and then bring it back in for the 'my bassline' part.
This DJ also needs to learn how to EQ. 2 tracks at full power with busy mids and highs at 12 is a terrible idea on an actual big club sound system.
Nice! Wish I had the RR..
No, you wouldnt, trust me when i say , it's one of the crapiest pieces to buy, specially for the cost . Get the DDJ 1K , u'd be gettin way more for ur $, even tho you'd be usin a laptop ;)
I cant wait to buy the xdj rx2
@@JADDEPRODUCTION I got the rr because it was the cheapest all in one unit I could find as my laptop was literally falling apart and I would have needed to replace that too. If I had a laptop I would have definitely gone with something else. It's very solid but ultimately offers little in the way of effects
TheDJSTUFF First of all, please correct your grammar because your comment was a pain to read. But anyways, think of this video as a sneak peak for what COULD be to come if you bought his course. The title of the video literally says, “Mixing Techniques For A Club Set.” There’s absolutely nothing misleading about that. All he’s doing is promoting his business, so I don’t understand what you’re complaining about? I enjoyed the useful transition examples Crossfader gave, so props to him.
🎉
I'm a pretty terrible mixer actually for a guy with residency 🤣 according to the club owner. But I know exactly what to play, that's why they keep me around 🇨🇿😛
man i think the most important thing is the track selection
Mixing on CDJS is way different to this. I understand the same layout but staring at the screen to easily identify if the tracks are in sync is why you can pull this off more smoothly
it isnt working like that, unfortunately!
Visual is never as good as your ear and most of the times, it's a bit off! :)
I could see that the ECHO you applied at 0:20 didnt decreased the volume with time. Can it be done in the XDJ-RX or only in RR?
Most Pioneer mixer have pre-fader effects this means that the effect will still going even tho the fader is down. But as the RR is a midi controller and doesn't have a sound card integrated it would depend on the software you are using, ex Traktor has a feature for pre-fader effects.
@@dreeamix9766 I got you but RR is not a midi controller. Its an all-in-one unit. It can be used as a midi controller but that's not the case in this video, as I could see.
How do you set up cues at what points in a track??
Are the the EQ's on full kill here or standard?
Hello, i need some help with something. I have an old Skool Sony stereo system from 1999, it’s the lbt- xb800av (if you look it up you’ll see) at the back of the stereo it has 3 or 4 inputs for the decks but at the back of the xdj rr’s it’s has only 2. Will this work with my stereo? Thanks
Question! I'm looking to upgrade and my ddj200 doesn't have headphone to listen to the music in queue. XDJ RR have that?
Who's the producer behind that last song "on the floor"
i have a question i would like to be a video dj and perform in tv stations e.t.c where do i get music videos and is it legal to download from you-tube?
Did you buy the samples?
How do you perform a vinyl break on xdj-rr?
My RR autoplays, soon as i load up a track it plays, tried turning it off on the menu on the controller but it doesnt work:(
Healy X Green try to press and hold the (Time mode/ Auto cue) button on the left side of your RR display
Keep it at 125 and loop the fuck outta everything. Say no more, FAM ;)
You wouldn’t happen to know why my deck is freezing, like when I’m playing off the xdj-rx sometimes when I go to loads track it won’t let me and then I’ll completely lock up
Maybe you need to pause the deck in which you wanna load a track.
you might need to re analyse your tracks.
how can i configure my xdj r2 in rgb mode? i have it in the rekordbox of my pc but not in my xdjr2
Un poco tarde pero bueno... Tienes que exportar tu configuración de rekordbox dj am usb con el que pinches y decirle a la rx2 que importe esa configuracion cuando le enchufas el usb
1:00 bass line
Hot 🔥🔥 Tracklist ?
its literally saying the tracks on the screens right there :D
Do you do this live or is this set prepared
probably prepared, nothing wrong with that for tutorials like this though
Can someone tell me the artist of the song named ''danceflaw'' ? Can't find it on youtube.
DJ Kotkas soundcloud.com/hoodgroove/danceflaw
This was NAWTY.
Djing. An amazing artform. I only fux around with djing for myself now. The music industry puts out nothing but garbage music and parties are too fucking rowdy these days. Djing for $$$ is a dying career. Nobody wants to pay the Dj anymore. Also, impressing people that don't matter is a huge part. It is AMAZING how your career choices can change.
What genre is this?
REFIRST Tech House
Is Tech House, Right?
The last song is yes
tech house and bass house
Dj
2:20
2:23 The "Low" knob should be turned to "0" again. He was late, that made the bass drop doesn't have any "Low" in it for a while 😂
Have a look again, thats not the channel that the drop is on! 🙈😂
Nice \○/ \○/ \○/
I'm on the fence between this and the RX2..comments?
Btw, check out my mixes made with just Traktor and a laptop.
Get a RX2. It has more effects on the unit. If you dont mind them, Get a RR
forget the flanger/phaser pls it is not 2008 anymore.😉
Fruit pastel in your mouth
Without chewing?
Pioneer kit seems so basic and old fashioned compared to my Denon MCX8000.
DJ_PaulTUK imo all denon gear looks as cheap as the little plastic toys you get from those chocolate eggs ;)
Great vid but cdj’s r better and take more skill
Why?
Tim Assink they just do u dont have a computer to do it for you and if u wanna go old skool vinyl is even harder that shit u get like auto mix nd shit
Preset
great mixing but bad music imo
Luckily its only a opinion. This is straight fire!
@@rudytravaille2669 of course its all opinion , I just don't like too many vocals in the house stuff
@@rudytravaille2669im generally more into techno tho
good skills but the music is flat and anonimous, sorry
that's what it is dear... A real Dj turns a flat anonymous track into a Dance number.
@@siddheshacharekar670 no. A real dj puts good music
