I can relate to the short attention span thing lol, this was actually the first album i was able to listen to all the way through with no distractions, even though this is a band i dont follow that much, i was so engaged the whole time. Definitely in my top 3 albums of 2021

That pause on their albums is called "negative space" and they use it to build up tension to add to the horrorcore aesthetic they didn`t exactly invent but along with Motionless In White and Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids helped to perfect.
The German voice in the song Würst Vacation is a man by the name of Robert Lynsey he is a friend of the special effects artist for the bands music videos who was on the show Face off. He is on the song because Spencer needed to find somebody with a German accent or Spencer would have do (in his words not mine) a terrible one

INK has never released a bad song imo. And I'm not even a huge metal fan, this is the heaviest band I've ever listened to.
I changed my taste in music over the past 6 six years. Even so, I still love this band, it is sooo amazing, from a girl who usually listens to "indie" music.
My wife does not listen to anything like this and she just discovered INK last month. She loves it

Album of the year, and it’s not even close. I was blown away. They have truly absolutely outdone themselves. This album is so good, it actually makes TSS1 worse, and makes me appreciate ETITB for how perfect it was as the “old INK” compared to Horrorwood’s “new INK”

I know this was a year ago but I only just ran across your channel. I really enjoyed your reaction. Ice Nine Kills is one of my favorite bands and this album is one of my favorites of all time. I love music that switches up alot too....like you were saying in Farewell to Flesh. I've recently discovered Sleep Token who do that alot and also Kim Dracula who does some really crazy genre changes and switch ups and I love it. Anyway, I am now a subscriber so I'll go explore more of your channel.

So I am really really late to the party here, brand spanking new fan of this band. Someone mentioned Spencer in a TikTok and I was like, woah he’s hot. So thought I’d check out the band and I was not disappointed, this album was the first I listened to by them and my emotions got the better of me so during Farewell II Flesh, I was crying so hard, that song got to me. I have no idea why it’s taken me this long to listen to them….. hands down, best album I have heard in many many years if not ever and I’m addicted to the band now.
Love the whole album, but Ex-Mortis wins for me. Perfectly captures the comedy horror of Raimi's masterpieces.
I just saw the comment about the crowd going nuts for ex-mortis in the chat and I can say it does. went to see them in Montreal a couple weeks ago and it was sick!
