I was pleasantly surprised with this! I don't usually listen to something like this, however when I do I go all out. I loved the ambiance that Ice Nine Kills brings to the table. Throughout the album we visit many iconic horror movies, books and video game. They range from American Psycho to Resident evil. The further I got into this album the more immersed I became. Same here. My first reaction to @GGP Productions here. I really enjoyed the energy and reactions. If you haven't done it yet, I highly suggest you do the storyline videos from their last album The Silver Scream. It will bring a new level of appreciation for this band. I saw them live in September at BRRF and they put on one hell of an amazing live show. Keep up the great reactions. :)

You definitely don’t have to have seen all these movies to enjoy their work, but IF YOU DO… you know the absolute genius that’s being produced within INK. From the references and sounds from the movies, the play on words, the breakdowns and extensive knowledge of the movies… 100% gold. I love every song on this album.

The attention to detail in every song is why I love this band. Even the older stuff going back to "Every Trick in the Book". Being a horror fan myself, it's almost like an easter egg in each track. Very enjoyable. One part that really blew my mind is the closing track "Farewell ii Flesh" with Candyman being surrounded by bees, then they add a "flight of the bumblebee" style guitar riff throughout the track, was left very impressed. Probably my favourite album this year

I would say better than good. Not a bad song on this album, only a couple I would personally skip on TSS & none I skip on ETITB. But that’s just me

He was attacked by a racist mob, swarmed by bees and had his right hand cut off and replaced with a hook hence the "You`re hooked on me,honey.Forever." and "Soft with one hand and stings with the other." Ironically in the second Candyman film, the ressurrected Candyman used that same swarm of bees that killed him to get revenge on the racist mob!
The xylophones are actually a reference to the 2019 reboot because the reboot theme is identical to the original`s theme except Bear McCreary added xylophones,otomotones and toy instruments.
They are definitely fire 🔥 in concert. Spencer's vocals are so on point and the band kills it

Never seen your channel before but I enjoyed your reaction. You're reaction to Take Your Pick is freaking hilarious! (yes Corpsegrinder does the low gutturals in that song) You should do more metal! Also I'm about to see them on the 16th so wish my neck some luck, especially bc my neck is still recovering from seeing Gojira last tuesday.

This is a very entertaining and well made reaction video! As a huge horror fan, some of these are my favourite movies, and realising the songs were about them made my entire year. I love this band so much!

Let me tell ya as a fellow RE mega fan, watching the music video is an absolute treat. When the chainsaw enemies with Las Plagas showed up I went insane
The whole idea is great because every music video (except for the one based on Psycho) his fiance Nadia plays in them and ends up getting killed by Spencer. In the Psycho one she ends up killing him. Also there is another girl, Victoria Worsnop, who appears in a couple, that's Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria's wife. To really get the full experience you have to watch the music videos tied to some of the songs, they are dipping in and out of the actual music video and the outside case in court being made against Spencer while another person (possibly the real killer) is attempting to cover up evidence, killing off members of the police force gathering the evidence. It has all of the cheesy gore, sex, drama, and comedy of an actual horror movie, and my god Spencer and Nadia are ridiculously good actors. There is an actual full length horror movie that Spencer is planning which hypes me up
Decided to start the new year revisiting INK and reactions since I once again got hooked on this album. This video is immediately one of my favourites. You got this band pretty much on the first note and they reeled you in so fast. This album is just so so good. Plus music videos for songs too are 👌👌👌.
Gotta comment on decision to not include reaction to Hip to be scared and instead do THAT, major props for creativity.

Motionless In White does some horror movie-based songs as well but they`re more geared towards Universal classic monster films, demon possession and ghost films and adaptations of the Salem Witch Trials.(Indeed, Spencer did a collaboration with them on their song "Abigail").

I found out about Ice Nine Kills just before Halloween. I actually got a Google recommendation of this album, and just by the name of it I was interested.
Before listening to the album, I thought they were just another generic metalcore/deathcore band but boyyyy was I wrong about that. I've been listening to them nonstop since I found out about them.
This reaction was also a very good one, it really did represent the things you feel during the album in an entertaining way!
Ice 9 is amazing live! I didnt know them that good when i went to trinity of terror but they blew me outta the waters! I love the videos to the songs! Would definitely see them again! Definitely recommend seeing them live! ❤

ice nine kills popped my metalcore cherry 4 years ago. still my top 5 favorite bands
It's hard to pick a favorite song from this album. Every song is just fantastic in every way. The nostalgic feels from Brandon's feature in The Box(plus being a huge Pinhead fan) makes me lean towards it but seriously. This whole album is just amazing.
The bass in the breakdown of The Box solidifies it as one of the top songs

To famous last words and their album “the incubus” whilst it’s not about horror based songs on films it is an album that instead tells a gruesome story of abuse. It’s definitely worth a listen. The ENTIRE album tells 1 story. With each track slowly putting the pieces In place to connect and tell the entire story
Honestly he could do every album, tfc gives the horror, council gives the depression, their older stuff is just fun to listen to, and their new ep gives the whole desperation feeling

I'd suggest literally anything by Imminence, specifically Ghost as well as Chasing Shadows & Alleviate (those two were released in one long video.) I think they're about to explode when the album drops on the 24th, I think? Eddie, the singer also plays violin, in a metalcore band.. It's mesmerizing.. This is the first time I've seen your channel, but I'm into it.

For some other horror themed bands, I would definitely check out Calabrese and Creature Feature. Very different sounds (Calabrese is from a whole genre called horror punk, which includes The Misfits!), and Creature Feature is very Danny Elfman mixed with rock; highly recommended!! Oh, and Wednesday 13!! And for cinematic horror music there's always Nox Arcana and Midnight Syndicate
After listening to this album when it came out, I went and watched Hostel for the first time. And that was probably one of the most disturbing movies I've watched
Very brutal movie, but did you like it?? I did the same thing and along with the song Hostel is one of my favorite horror movies now

Just found your video. This whole album is a masterpiece. But, if Take Your Pick is your favorite, then Death Metal is right up your alley. I highly recommend you check out Cannibal Corpse and Death. There are more bands, but I, myself, am not that familiar with the genre. 😁
