THANKS SO MUCH FOR WATCHING! - Jak na to + styl
Pye, you've got a crazy good video presence. Like confident, charismatic, and laid back all at once. You should teach a class on that next
Confidence comes from finding yourself, it takes a lot of inner work.
Being laid back is that confidence from experience. He's been working with clients for a little while
Appreciate that mate!
I strongly agree
Great Video!!
Always enjoy watching your videos! Thanks for sharing some really cool ideas to shoot portraits with available light.

Welcome!
Thanks, Pye!
Welcome!
That kind of light and one lens is fun, there are tons of good light sources in a town, just super fun to find new ones all the time. And as always Pye, really good video 👍
Great video Pye. I feel like i have been watching your videos from when I first started learning.
My old neighborhood! So many great photo spots! So glad to see you photograph this beauty there
What city is this?
Great fun. Love your videos.
When shooting like this I love to shoot in Aperture Priority Mode coupled with Auto ISO and a minimum shutter speed.
This way all I have to do after choosing location, framing, etc. is to choose the Aperture I want for DOF, make sure my focus point is where i want (nearest eye for this kind of thing) and then use Exposure Compensation to brighten or darken the image if needed.
The ISO will automatically adjust so that I get the minimum shutter speed that I associated with Auto ISO for a steady/sharp image.
I'll choose that Shutter Speed based on subject, focal length, etc. If I'm birding with a 150-600 it'll be 1/1000th or higher. For street portraits with a 35/50/85mm lens it'll be 1/125th or 1/160th.
Cheers, Charles
This is so simple and amazing at the same time, thank you!
Always simple and creative!!
This guy is a genius. Thanks for posting the video. Certainly gives me some ideas for an upcoming shoot I have in Philly.
Thank you so much it was full of great information. I appreciate you taking the time to make this for us.
So minimal yet so effective! easy shoot date experience!

informative 6.5mins+ on lighting for portraits.
Glad you dig!
Amazing video! Lots of info and tips in less than 7 minutes... Also you´ve got me at "We don´t need to advertise this building..." 🤣
Shoutout DTSA! Cool stuff here.
I remember her👍🏾
Awesome. I love how you just take the picture and make it whatever you want in post. Do you have a course where you show step by step your post process?
Kiara, love your cardigan. Would love to know the brand or where you got it 😊
Hi :) is Michael Kors
Do you have a video for shooting indoors, with the house lights while looking at a window on a sunny day? Basically, get the correct exposure of a room when the shades are open (or there are no blinds, shades to seal off the sun).
Great content, as always, thank you! Do you train jiu jitsu as well? Would love to see a tutorial of how to photograph an indoor sport like BJJ.
I do, I think we did a video on that a little while back on the channel.
hello do you have tutorial how you edit that in lightroom ?
Fun video with a lovely positive vibe. One small respectful observation - the first 3 out of the 5 situations weren't explained so well in terms of seeing and exploiting available light. Those first three scenarios were more about explaining composition, which doesn't really fit with the title of the video or the introduction.
Anyone Else Notice That Kiara Looks Totally Different When She Wears Her Hair Curly
Kiara's my go-to for that exact reason, she's literally a chameleon. That and she's also awesome =)
Yes. 😂
👍👍👍
Thank you!
What town is this? these locations are very cool.
Hey Pye What's Good ? Love Your Videos Can You Do Me A Favor What's Your Take On The Godox 100 Pro I Just Got It The Other Day.
Good flash, solid price point!
@@payamjirsa What Modifiers Do You Recommend I Shoot with A Sony a6000, FE 50mm f1.8 @ 20mm f2.8
could you take pictures to 1.2. i would like to know how it looks like
where can I purchase the presets from
What is the first thing somebody should do when they thinking about starting a business with photography
Love this, would like to see more male models.
Непривычно видеть Не 70-200
70-200 challenge?
The head space his giving on the rule of thirds gives me headaches 😅
Actually not much about the lighting has been told...
This should be titled how to find a good location for portraits , not lighting.
I don't think a 35 mm is suited for these kind of portraits
Photographic skills are way above his social manners. The word "please" does not seem to exist in his vocabulary. How is the model supposed to enjoy posting without any visual feeback? After all - I guess - paying her is enough.
Sigma 35 mm f/1.4! is a basic lens ? any one who owns this lens is not need this video and he not told anything about what camera he is using. not worth to watch. implicitly he saying that if you want low light photos then buy any fast lens (i.e., 1.4 or less) and a full frame DSLR (which he not even mentioned) .
