This is one of the best videos I've seen on simple photography shooting tips. Thank you ever so much, Pye. Cheers!
Thank you Pye. Creativity is simplicity. You are wonderful
Great video! The idea using the smartphone's torch is a brilliant!
Totally using these! Great video. WOW, Chelsea is STUNNING!
Rewatched this one many times! Love it
THIS WAS SO HELPFUL!!! Thank you for taking the time to make this. You gained a new follower ☺️
thanks for video I love these easy and not expensive property used .
Enjoyed your tips and video man. Appreciate it.
Great video. Easy setups at home. Love it!
I enjoyed this video quite a bit. You were creative in visualizing good shots in ordinary places. you didn't go out looking for the "perfect location!" I really liked the simplicity of setting up the shoot and lastly, the beautiful model.
Thanks for sharing... much appreciated, Pye! 👍🏽
“Find a plant” he said, “Any plant” he said...us Canadians won’t find an outdoor plant until May! Winter has come!
I am sure some oak/maple something is always blooming in Canada :P European trying American jokes :P
Haha same in Sweden ;)
Think outside the box; get a plant from Home Depot or some other store that sells plants.
Practical, with a great use of natural/ambient light in regular settings to create composition.
What a neat idea to use your phone flashlight. Fun video to watch. Great photographer and model.
Absolutely beautiful!
More like these pleaseee especially the one with crystals in front of the light and boxes too👌
Love the dark room with the 2 boxes.
Very helpful idea thank you for sharing with us and keep doing this kind of videos.
The training was very good and I really enjoyed it. Thank you
Awesome video!
My favorite part in the video was at the 9:24 mark when Chelsea is deadpan and no longer the least surprised when you are knocking stuff over.
I love these kinds of videos Pye. Like the one in the parking lot of that mirrored building, 5 shots. Great. This was also fabulous. Love that you appear more human here... banging into things, glass breaking, stuff in the way... Excellent photos, and very inspiring. Might try some things like this on Christmas.
Thank you for sharing this, I found it useful
Thank you for sharing knowledge ..so useful..
Such a wonderful video TYSM
The perfect video I was searching for

Wow to work with someone with her beauty is the dream. This guy & Gavin are my motivation.
Thanks. Nice ideas
thanks for sharing ideas🙏🙏
Very clear ideas
Really enjoyed the 'shoot' and the creative use of what is around us. In a perfect world I would have liked to hear about your thought process on your camera settings. I know it was about the posing but for me it would have been helpful Thanks huge! 🙂
the lowlighting in the garage is nice to for eye reflections
i have the samyang 35mm F1.4 for sony FE its nice! oooh posterboard as instant backdrop nice idea! thats pretty good about the portraits without using any other additional lights!
Hi, great info! I would just like to ask about your C stand, as a back drop tool. What was done to it to be able to hang back drop on it.
Thank you ! Such a informed vid, I’m inspired..
Great Job
Another great video. I love the garage idea and the "gobo" idea!!! Chelsea did a great job posing and this video was a nice lil comedy show for me. I was laughing as you ran into the pull up bar and hearing the crashing of glass hitting the floor. It made me laugh and ofcourse it made Chelsea laugh too. I think it make the video more unique and can relate. Overall you still made your points and as soon as I clean my garage I would definitely give that a try!! Thanks again!!!
Glad you're enjoying the content and we appreciate the feedback! We're trying more of this style going forward.... more authentic, more BTS, more mistakes shown :)
I'd like to see a review of the Samyang lenses please!! Great video as always!
Great video!!
Love these ideas, do you think I could get the same results with a Lens kit. I’m just starting out
Good video, great ideas.
What is the make of the backgroundsystem? It's a nice and small system.
Genial! you are awesome!
Great ideas> Excellent video as always. I would like a full review on the Samyang 50mm full frame for Sony E. Thanks.
Its realy good 😍😍😍
Amazing 🤩 model and great lighting tips. Love it!!
Awesome pye
I had no idea that that "gobo" effect was so easy to achieve. Thanks!
Marvelous
This video is so damn good and invaluable for me as someone who is starting out with photography. Thank you!
These were some very helpful tips. I especially like the one with the cell phone light and boxes for those of us without fancy lighting set ups and back drops yet. On the list for 2021!
Good tutorial explained very nicely.
Superb one
Good work man
,,,got some good ideas from this vid!
Interesting ideas. Thanks for sharing. Although I don’t quite get how you managed to get that depth of field with f1.8?
Its all about how close or far you are from the subject.
Awesome
Awesome video
Tips sederhana tapi kena dihati, mantap
Amazing ! You gained sub 🔥
Omg I love you! Lol this is probably the best video I have seen on CZcams, i was laughing the whole time after you hit your head, u are a clutz which I can relate haha but the look on your face haha!!! I loved the ideas u had and I can’t wait to try it myself!!
Thanks for including that blooper! Totally made my day! 👍
Nice Pye, thank you. Two things....
1. I'd like to see more on using the 35mm lens
2. I want to do some sessions with my grandson (14 years old) to give to my kids for Christmas. Do you have any videos on shooting/posing etc teens?
I love the model. 😍❤️
She's soooo cute! ;-)
👌👌👌👌
Very nice
Excellent
🙏🙏
Doesn't get much simpler than a garage and a cell phone flashlight between boxes! These help get the ideas flowing. Tnx 👍📸
Great ideas! 📷 Got yourself a new subscriber. 😊
Working in the garage can be hazardous 😂👍. Very nice idea indeed!
Another excellent video! I’m considering the samyang 35mm 1.8 lens ,would like to see your review . 🙂
ThAnks 😊
Review on the lenses please.? Thank you
Wow
Pye's voice is very soothing. Thank you for the great tips. ;)
"inexpensive solution...poster board" held up by a 200 c-stand
haha ... that's true but you could also tape it to a wall or have a friend hold it up. :) - Pye
@@gerardorodriguez7858 No one is complaining but you. Don't take things so seriously, unless you want to name the other 999,998 ways of hanging it as Pye already mentioned two other ways. I'm curious how many you could think of.
hey, that's pretty good!
That was really interesting, lots of easy things to try. Any chance of seeing more of your garden? My wife is a garden designer and would be interested in the way you have those slabs set into the grass...
Woow!!
For DIY bedsheet backgrounds, I use Surface Blur in Photoshop. I also find that it's more useful to steam the middle where people are, because wrinkles matter most right next to people.
On the gobo effect can this be done via strobes vs natural light.
super tuto ! can you please explain why you point the 35mm to the bottom when Chelsea is on the chair. very nice effect and distorsion. I would have flexed my knees to be at height of eyes,... parallel plane to the girl or I would have put the face at center of display,... which would be less nice.
Extremely helpful thank you
That red mark at 5:10.... I can't stop laughing! Thanks for that!
At 10:58 - you can finally hear Chelsey tell something :)
Really cool tips.
Is it weird I prefer the lighting in the video to the shots the camera captured? Theres a nice warm, soft glow that the camera cools down and sharpens up.
You should do a photo shoot with the kamado joe as the model. Those are amazing
WONDERFUL! TY! I am a bit puzzled with your 35mm selection for the last shot...It caused unattractive facial distortion IMHO. Why that selection?
It's what so many people think is a great look because their mobile phone selfie photos have this same look lol
How can I get a visual flow t-shirt from?
5:03 lmao...that hit pretty hard seeing the red mark on his forehead afterwards!
I already watched your videos but now I'm going to subscribe because you do jiu-jitsu and MMA 🙂 and there aren't many of us out here that have the combination of loving Photography and jiu-jitsu....keep up the good work... OSS 🤙🏽
OSS brother.
My garage is also a studio and training space. I can practice lighting set ups on my training dummy. :-)
Kinda hard to do a demonstrate a bad picture with Chelsea.
Right? I learned long ago that the quality of my work increased in direct proportion to the attractiveness of the subject.
The moment when he said beautiful and she came out with a smile 4:11
Hi idol! Im from Philippines ang im a newbie in photography but i love MMA and Jiu-Jitsu and i compete too!!🇵🇭
Says Jujitsu, instant like!
Love the GOBO and CHIAROSCURO term :) finally, I can name it ;)
Hello Master, thank you from 12/2023
