I wanted a refresher and I have been searching turkey videos for the last three days haha but alas I finally found the one that was the winner last year, yours! Thank you thank you love your channel, have a blessed and happy Thanksgiving!!!
Gina, I am waaaay older than you and an old southern cook. I saw your video, watched, and subscribed. Love your cooking technique and you make cooking your recipes EASY! I do wish these cooking critics would be polite and knock off their snide comments. It's a free country and they can do whatever and however they want. They are mean and jealous of you so, pay no attention! I enjoy your videos, enthusiasm and great tips and ideas! Thank you and God bless!
I love your show Gina and I love the way you pray over your food and I I can see all the love that you put in your food it's just beautiful thank you for the beautiful recipes God bless you
I have never cooked my Turkey in a cooking bag. I bake it in the oven in a roasting pan with all my goodies in it and adding a small amount o chicken broth in the bottom of the pan. It comes out so moist. After my Turkey finished I wait about half an hour. I remove it and put it on a Turkey platter. All the goodies at the bottom I add more chicken broth and add cornstarch to it to make my gravy. I just might try it your way this time Gina, it seems to be faster. Thanks for sharing Gina!❤
I wasn’t ready when she came out with that huge scoop of butter at the beginning 😂🤣😂 but that’s what I’m talking about! Definitely trying the way she did it. Thanks and wish me luck ❤️
Been coming back to this video for the last 3 years the voice is how I know I’m on the right video 😂 I was tired of eating Turkey jerky now I’m expected to cook every year since 2018 haha thank you!!!
I love this recipe Gina! Simple, easy and it looks delicious. I've been binge watching all your holiday dishes and so far I'm definitely doing the macaroni and cheese, turkey and greenbeans.....Oooooooh Wee! 😀

Such a great simple recipe🤗💯 but did she ever show the results of it like her video said at the end? We’re making our first turkey this year and am excited to try this recipe out, thank you Ms. Gina💜

I made your award winning lasagna. People raved over it. so I’m making a turkey for a lady who has no oven, so I’m using this recipe. I”m sure it will be a winner also. Thank you Gina. You are such a gem. god bless your family.
I made this turkey the exact way you taught me Mrs. Gina last year for Thanksgiving. My family requested for me to be in charge of cooking the turkey for the holidays from now😋🤤❤. This year the Turkey was just about all gone within 20min of serving 🤣 So juicy..The most asked question at the dinner table was "Who made That TURKEY?"🤤Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family🦃
This was my first turkey and it turned out superb. Make sure your turkey is pre-salted, it is usually labeled if it is. I cooked a smaller turkey and I think that is the key too. The next time I do this I will add the spices to the butter first. It was awesome and juicy. Thank you Gina
Used your recipe for my first time ever making a turkey and let's just say there's almost no leftovers! My family loved it and so did I! ❤ Thank you for teaching me how to make a damn good turkey.
i am here for the second time!! i made your recipe last year for the first time ever making one and let me tell youu, DELICOUS. you kept it so to the point easy to follow and so real and authentic! i needed to refresh my memory and i swear by your recipe. and adding the flour tip in the bag helped so much!! it also helps the skin alittle crispy not soggy at all. thank you a million times for helping those who need that push and step by step instructions. Happy thanksgiving ❤❤
I love using the oven cooking bags for Turkey. You don’t get the crispy skin, but it’s so moist and juicy! This year I am going to a family members, but next Sunday I am cooking a turkey breast for my girls and I I am making it in the crock pot to keep it from getting too dry. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Gina!
I used this video to make my first ever Thanksgiving turkey last year (Nov 2019) and it was amazing! Thank you so much! Definitely using it again this year and years to come. 🥰

I just bought a some nice free range turkeys for 69 cents a pound. 15# turkey for $10!!!! Gina you rock ......blessings to you and your family
I skimmed through like 15 videos before I found this one. I made this turkey last year and it was the best turkey I ever had😍😍😍 Tasty, juicy, and flavorful. Thank you!
The Turkey looks Amazing! That is also how I season and cook my Turkey, the celery ,onions, and seasoning ,gives it a Wonderful taste, and yes definitely a cooking bag! Very moist also!😊👍
I also put sage and rosemary on my bird when I do my seasoning. Additionally, I put cut apple halfs and place inside the bird for flavor along with celery and onions. I season the hell out the bird and put it in the oven breast down inside a roasting pan. And the breast is so moist when I do it that way. I saw a chef on tv do that and I have been doing it that way ever since. Thanks for your upload, Gina and happy Thanksgiving.😊👍
Yes im doing a Cajun bird this year. I'm using Toni chachere, season salt, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, oregano and poultry seasoning. I put an onion, lemon, bell pepper, and celery inside. Put 1 1/2 stick of butter in the breast skin, then 1/2 on top. Place that baby in the oven at 350 and 3 to 4 hrs later I'ma have the best bird

I cook my turkey upside down and it is always moist. I put it in the oven late on Wednesday night. I turn the oven on about 450 get it preheated and by the time I have cleaned and dried it off. I rub it down with butter and salt cover my pan with foil put it in the oven. I let it cook for about 30 minutes and then turn it down to 275 and let it cook all night. I don't care that it gets flat because I let it set until it cool enough to handle and I take the breast off and slice it and tare off all the dark meat separate it on a platter. Before I start doing any kind of cooking I run my sink full of hot soapy water. I haven't had a complaint yet or poisoned anyone and I'm 61. I cooked my first Thanksgiving dinner at the age of nine. My mama had already bought every thing but had to have emergency surgery. So I fixed everything .

Love it !! Thank u. I love all your videos. You know I’m a fan when I notice that u seem to be not feeling well. Lol I hear it in your voice. Hope u feel better because we need all of your recipes!!
What I like to do is buy some Stove Top stuffing. Mix it dry with chopped seasonings and stuff the turkey. The liquid from the turkey will give it enough moisture and it will be delish! I also make slits in the turkey and stuff them with a little bacon and garlic. Wonderful flavor! Thanks for the video! Happy Thanksgiving and blessings to all who see it!!! 🌺🌸🌺
Gina, that cranberry sauce is the bomb i made it yesterday and my husband and i fell in luv and i also made this morning the gibblet gravy ,OMG,it is heaven ,will continue to keep making.ty so much...Happy Thanksgiving.
