This mashup is the brainchild of Brian Green (guitarist in the video) and Erin Bentlage (whose voice you can hear on background vocals. Also she's in the group "säge" which you MUST check out: spoti.fi/30EuBZq). Why does the term "brainchild" feel weird in this context? Is it because it makes it sound like they're in some sort of intellectual relationship?? Hmmm...either way. Nice work, Brian and Erin! May your brainchildren be many!

I ABSOLUTELY adore that song... I get made fun of for it. I'm a musician and a writer myself, so this song in my opinion is VERY underrated in a lot of ways. It's also so very NOSTALGIC.
It strikes me that the chemistry of Pomplamoose is based on Joy! I love watching these amazing artists thoroughly enjoy every second of what they do so very, very well. Every featured artist is thrilled to perform with such amazing talent. Jack Conte is brilliant! Love this band!

Cool to see a New Zealand song featuring in one of you guys mash ups! OMC's How Bizarre was a big one hit wonder down here about 25 years ago and it's been strangely reminiscent seeing it featured in Tik Toks etc over the last year.
@nig a From what I recall, drugs weren't a big part of the Pauly Fuemana story... it was more the usual money-management issues of someone from his background finding themselves suddenly rich, contract disputes with the record labels, etc. He had some medical problems too, leading to his death about ten years ago.
I would name them 'magic spices' coz everything gets refresh with just a pinch of their style
1) The lighting on Nataly in this video is absolutely perfect.
2) Even though I could only see Jack's face for like two seconds, I could tell he was loving life even behind the mask, which is what we came to see. Keep bringing joy into the world!
Even songs I hate, I end up loving when Pomplamoose does them. Quite a feat!

Nataly, I like how natural, open and personal your voice sounds on this track. It's really dry and that makes it connect really well with your shots in the video. And your voice fits into the mix really well as it is, doesn't need much processing.
