@@Thehumanleaguelover so she leaves the cowgirl costume in the car and once her mom gets back she says “actually can we get the nun costume?” Then the day of the party she puts on the cowgirl costume first then the nun costume over it so it’s hidden, she also brings a bag “for her phone” and the puts the nun costume in it once she arrives and just slides it over her clothes before she leaves the party

Bro my mum is literally this but 1000 times worse. She doesn’t let me even leave the house never mind a party- and for some reason she has to know ALL of my friends parents numbers. Sometimes I’ll get invited out somewhere like to the mall and my mum comes with me, follows me around and screams at me for literally everything- RIP to all the friends I lost because her
I understand parents have to care for their kids' safety, but that is too much.
Your mom clearly is protective of you, but she is going overboard.
She should establish rules, but they need to be reasonable and still give you space to explore life and grow and have a healthy social life (with reasonable limits ofc).

If this is strictly, my parents are terrible.. I'm not allowed to wear jeans, t shirts, short dresses (with pants), I can't do anything atp. I'm I'm allowed to wear dresses, with tights obviously. The last time i wore half-sleeves was when I was 6 and went with my dad to a dinner party.. I'm not allowed outside, and am in 10th grade, (high school where I'm from is 3 years) and still don't have a phone 😭
also before I get attacked like "you'd parents probably can't afford a phone" etc, I'd like to say that my dad is quite rich, he owns three huge cars and we live in an 8 bedroom house, they just don't care about me lmfao ☠☠
