    Excellent! I’m so glad I watched your presentation. I decided even though deer hunting has already begun in Oregon, I was going to mount my Trijicon Credo 1-8x on an FNH short heavy barrel Police Sniper Rifle. I’m having Amazon deliver you exact setup today! I bought the rifle at the suggestion of a Navy SEAL sniper that I met on JBER in Anchorage, while I was working in an ER and teaching some Tac Emer Med to USAF PJs who were doing some training in the ER. I did get to care for a Grizzly Bear attack victim, as I watched my Rucking handgun progressing from a 357 Mag revolver ➡ 44-Mag as I watched Grizzlies from my home’s window ➡ 500S&W once I had a close encounter with 2 different Grizzlies in the winter. The rifle has a MIL-STD-1913 Rail above the bolt. I’m attaching a Quick Release SPUHR 34mm Mount + Rings, learning about Fix It Sticks as I wait. ⚕🇺🇸

    The pick you referred to is for removing the slide stop on a Glock. It's sharp end would catch the top of the spring so you pin the spring in the bottom of the lower while you slide the slide stop out. Putting it back in is the same as taking it out, in reverse.

    Love this video, I would definitely invest in their brass hammer head as well for this particular kit to use in tandem with the roll pin punch. I’ve been strongly debating getting the works as I’ve seen many firearms enthusiasts use these fix it sticks, and I myself am becoming more and more enthralled in the wonderful world of pew and all things mechanical. Currently working in fast food and it makes the cost very hard to justify, but I think I’m sold after watching a few reviews of it, yours included. Keep up the good work brother, you’re very well spoken and the straight to the point no nonsense explanations are perfect for me, subscribed :)

      NICE! I thought to myself, the only thing this is missing is a hammer, boom! Thank you!

    This seems like a decent kit but I can make the same kit with name brand tools from snapon Klein ect for about half the price and it’s less than half the price

      Anything designated for guns, pets, or babies automatically costs twice as much 😆

    3:17 instead of using sharpie paint pens for your automotive projects I would recommend getting "Schraubensicherungslack" (screw securing and thread-sealing paint) from Germany which comes in a lot of different colors. I use the Baeder brand.

    I think you mean inch pounds!

  • @86steventura

    Only wish it already came with the 2 in bits for that price. The all in one is too thick with most handgun optics and will scratch or destroy your screws at an angle.

    15 ft. Pounds seems excessive. You sure it isn’t inch pounds?

    • @DeFenderCo
      @DeFenderCo  Před 2 lety +7

      It 100% was inch pounds. I work on cars where I'm used to saying foot pounds, so I misspoke out of habit.

    How accurate was the torque wrench?

    • @DeFenderCo
      @DeFenderCo  Před 2 lety +2

      Its super accurate. I checked it against my Snap-on 1/4 drive torque wrench and it was spot on.

    whats the total weight on this?

    • @DeFenderCo
      @DeFenderCo  Před 3 lety +1

      I am not with it to weigh it, but for sure under 2 lbs. Probably around 1.7lbs.

  • @ejaokay
    @ejaokay Před 2 lety

    I don't get these, they're crazy expensive, and there are cheaper options that are more accurate? There are adjustable torque limiters online with +/- 5% accuracy while these are +/- 6% accuracy.

    The issue with the philosophy of Buy Once, Cry Once is that it doesn't take into account breakage, theft, loss, and the power of iteration. It's rarely one and done.

      1. Secure your s***. 2. Don’t lose your s*** 3. Diminishing marginal utility.

    • @3vil3lvis
      @3vil3lvis Před 6 měsíci

      @@jayj4142 1.) Are you of the opinion that thieves are incapable of opening locks? Are you guarding your stuff 24/7? If so do you even own your stuff, or does your stuff own you?
      2.) Not talking about that time you didn't lose something, rather that time that you lost something. Have you never lost anything? Do you think people do that intentionally?
      3.) What do you even mean?
      The power of iteration refers to incremental improvements over the lifespan of a product. For example the fix-it-sticks in the video are the old version and a new ratcheting version is on the market. Improvements happen and so you are never finished buying stuff.
      Buy Once, Cry Once is a logical fallacy that sets the unreasonable expectation that you are done paying forever.
