What kind of sealant did you use on the exterior part of where the cable comes out of?
Have you tried towing? And if so, how much? I just installed the same hitch on my my 2020 Forester. Thank you.
hey. My subaru forester tow plug connector has water damage: a corroded pin, and a broken lead into it. I want to replace the connector and rewire it, but I can't find the connector to buy. Subaru dealer looked for the part but it was only available as a full harness replacement kit for $$$. Got any ideas where to get one? thanks! :)
Hey Zack, sorry for the late response didn't see your post.. I'm not sure what the factory Subaru connector looks like but if it is a 4-pin connector you can usually find those at Walmart right on the Shelf for a few bucks and could spiced that in to place negating the factory one. It might not look as pretty as the factory one or as stable but would work just the same. Hopefully you got it already taken care of and I'm just jabbering my jaws for no reason:-)

My specific year is a 2011 rise888. What year do you have? This harness fits 09-13 I know for a fact...and so far works flawlessly!
