As a fellow Missourian it was really nice to actually get some of what was predicted. I just love the anticipation of a snow day. No matter how old I get, I will never outgrow the love of a snow day. My 18 year old went sledding at Art Hill with friends and I cozied up on the couch with my puppy for a movie day. Hubby was in NYC on business.
For your natural cleaner try adding citrus peels. I have a quart mason jar going at all times. Works great on everything.

I live in Western Pennsylvania and we had rain all day Thursday which turned into some ice than snow overnight. Didn't get a lot of snow but the ice made it difficult. We bought a whole house generator due to having a well and now we don't have to worry about losing power. We will never lose power now but do have peace of mind. Your kids look like they were having fun in the snow.

I lived in Chesterfield Mo my whole life and lived for snow days!!!!! Now I live in Orlando Florida and enjoy looking at snow thru videos lol so thank you! Reminds me of home and my daughters being young!!

Looks like a fun snow day. Happy you didn't get the severe ice that was predicted. I am going to have to make snow ice cream for my Grandkids sometime. Right now, So. Utah is having a bit of a warm up; so no snow at our elevation.

My Mamaw used to make us snow cream when I was a little girl. What a fun memory that your kids will never forget! I’m sixty and I remember it like it was yesterday! @@ouroilyhouse hi Laura. Im considering water filtration/systems, what exactly does the Berkey do? does it like boil the water or something, do you have to just put in tap water and it filters it or what? I'm very interested in this one it looks like a good system

We didn’t get as much snow as they were calling for but we definitely got more ice than expected. Some things are just thawing out :-(.

Urg ice is the worst!!
You should look into a generator for your well and a propane gas stove for cooking when there is no power.
