The Palestinians claim to have had land stolen from them before they were born, and are willing to kill their Israeli neighbours for stealing it, even though they also were not born at the time? Or the claim that they are “oppressed and denied their freedom” by their Israeli neighbours. Whereas the Israeli claim is that the Palestinians would use their “freedom” not to build industry, schools and commercial infrastructure to support a prosperous future, but rather to build tunnels and buy rockets with which to attack the Israelis? What is missing from my understanding?
