surely its impossible to measure a lot of these because of the coastline paradox? i imagine it would differ greatly depending on which measurements were used
Yeah all the listings on Wikipedia etc. say the lengths can't be compared as different countries statistical offices will have used different methods and sometimes the same border will have different lengths listed.

i think you forgot the netherlands has very old borders (thus quite squiggly) and it has limburg which is basically the shape of chickenwing poking in too belgium and/or luxembourgh, and outside of that it also borders germany
