12 Angry Men is a masterclass in tell-don't-show.
The two main characters don’t even speak in full sentences, but you can get such a feel for their personalities and emotions. Just brilliant! Wall-E is one of my all time favorite films.

Wall-E introduced me to Hello Dolly
It's great how even though they've all become giant baby's the Humans, especially the Captain, still have the drive to _do_ things, to be active and learn. AUTO cold obedience to his directive and the robot's, inadvertent babying of them didn't take that away.
Best Pixar movie ever! Also, make sure you watch the WALL-E short, BURN-E, it's hilarious.

Wall-E is not only a great movie for all thats in it, but its deep tale of how humans could become of we depend to much on technology to make life overly easy.
700th anniversary of 5 years-- 3500 years they were gone
Wall-E is #4 on my all-time favorite movies list, and it's easily my favorite Pixar movie. It's just amazing how much emotion Andrew Stanton was able to get from two main characters who didn't have actual faces, and had a two-word vocabulary consisting of each other's names.

I watched this last night and left it playing all night long. Okay I restarted it twice in the middle of the night and went back to bed both times.
I’ve been watching the channel for a little over a year, and it’s so cool to see how much the mom has opened up and talks more! Just something I thought was wholesome.
It was not a 5 year cruise, it was intended to be 5 years but ended up taking Centuries Instead! The Passengers are the Great great Great grandkids of the Original Crew and Passengers.
Autopilot looks like HAL-9000 from Space Odyssey 2001 (1968), and music from this movie plays when captain stands on his legs.
My favorite Pixar movie. Glad you girls finally reacted to it.

This film is a Masterpiece.
This movie is spot on with everyone having their nose glued to a phone as depicted by the people in chairs with a constant screen in their face. I think that was kind of a statement as to the way society has been going.

I hope you also saw the closing credits to WALL-E. It shows scenes of how life progressed for the former passengers on the Axion. The ship would become the information bank for them as they learned to grow crops and properly use the land. They started with low-tech tools from early history and gradually became more skilled. They also took inspiration from famous artists too. WALL-E and Eva were there to help whenever they were needed, and they were able to see that the original plant had grown into a big sturdy tree over time.

I'm glad you guys did a reaction to this movie. I'm 50 and saw it when it came out.... I can't remember..... Maybe I was in my early 40s? I loved it. Can't remember when it came out. It's OK for old people to still like cartoons, isn't it?

I don't think you will recognize *Sigourney Weavers voice* as she plays *Axioms computer.* The director joked with Weaver, about her role in Wall-E actually being '*Mother* now.. i.e. Nostromos mainframe in the 1979 movie Alien.

Fantastic film... guys, could you react to The prince of Egypt?
Y’know… The only thing I’ve always wondered about is… What happened to the rest of the BnL fleet? The Axiom was the jewel of the the starliners and the biggest. But as I understand it, there are multiple others that we just never get to see. Not even in the end credits sequence.
That's true. There could be a few scenarios as to why we don't see them.
1.) The other starliners didn't make it.
2.) The other starliners are just still hovering through space.
3.) They could have found a new planet.
Obviously we don't know the answer for sure but it's possible they didn't think about the other starliners until later on but tried contacting them from the Axiom.
But the way the credits role through, you can tell that many years have passed by since they returned to earth so it's possible that during that time the other starliners have come back, and maybe they've even achieved colonies on other planets just so they don't have another earth/Axiom incident where they have to leave earth and float through space for hundreds of years.
This movie bring me back good old days😭😭

People often don't take chances on creative types until after they've already proven themselves. It's one of the struggles of being an artist. It's why most famous artists made most of their money after they died.

How true. Ina addition, *buying into the improvements corporations dangle in front of us, considerably accelerates the vicious circle.* With our laziness inspired consumption we encourage very hasty developement that not only leads to laziness, but also fills the earth with garbage. Imagine how a couple bought a new phone when they married in 1978 & kept it til now (44 years) while in half of this time their 2 sons bought at least 40 cell/smart phones. This means in communications alone we're *filling the earth with garbage at least ca. 80 times faster´* than our parents. So forget about convincing the ignorant about Global warming & concentrate at least on the laziness & garbage aspects. This is exactly what this great animation movie achieved.

The realistic people were in ads and on state TV. B&L owns the TV station and pretty much is the controlling government. So of course they would want to show their best look, even if it is a fake altered image. It's not because PIXAR didn't have the technology, it was more social commentary on the filters of reality through screen.
I think it's fair to watch the same trailers they show in the theaters.

While I commend Pixar’s intentions of stopping sequels for movies post 2019 (aside from Cars 3, Toy Story 4, and Incredibles 2 as they were already in production) to focus solely on entirely new adventures for entirely new characters, this was one of the earliest Pixar movies I saw as a kid, so I constantly wondered if Wall-E was ever gonna get a sequel. I kept my hopes up since I love him and Eve so much. While that’s likely never going to happen, at least I can cherish this. There wasn’t much in Wall-e that would warrant a continuation of the story, at least in my opinion (there probably is something that I missed), but I miss those two robots so much!!
If they we’re stuck in those chairs how’d they have kids?

Adam Ruins Everything has been wrong on numerous occasions. Not saying it was always wrong, but it can't necessarily be taken as gospel either.
Yes the older generation has started to change their ways when it comes to global warming and recycling but it's not the older generation that's going to be in trouble it's the younger generation the younger generation the new generation Unfortunately they are children that are stuck behind computer screens behind tablet behind computers behind cell phones instead of going out and exploring their world playing in the grass in the dirt for example I have a 10 year old niece that is stuck behind a tablet 24/7 you have to argue with her you had to take the tablet away just to get her to go outside and when she is outside she only stays out there for 15 minutes and then comes right back in and said she's bored and I have been saying it for years once the older generation is gone the ones that remember playing outside the ones that care about our grass our environment once the older generation is gone Our Generation the younger generation my nieces age or her children those are the ones that are going to send the environment ourWorld to its Doom
