Hi neighbor, I'm in Mississippi. I am going to get the 30" Sharp version (that came with my home but the first owner took with him) because the spot where there is a microwave is so uncomfortable to have to get and we end up spilling under the cabinet. Of course he took it, it's pretty valuable piece.

You certainly can as long as the cabinet is deep, wide enough to accommodate the size.

Sharp sells a pedestal for it, but it's ridiculously expensive.

How does ventilations works on those microwaves? Is it required any vents? How about odor if you cook/warming the food?

Microwaves are not generally ventilated. Smells like what ever your warming up.
