Waaaah I’m trying to message u on discord but don’t know how
Even if it’s an add on order that requires me to drive an extra 2ft, I will never accept $3-4. Same as eating out, if you can’t afford to tip, you can’t afford to eat out or receive deliveries.
I wouldn't do it for a 2nd restaurant but if it's the same restaurant and the order is ready, I would.
2nd week on DoorDash and I love it, I’ve been watching you and DoorDash diaries videos and it’s helped a lot so far
I've been driving on and off for about 4 years, and I think I'm just now hitting a stride when it comes to DoorDash, and this training today helped reinforce that.
Your videos have really helped me develop my own strategies while driving. Thank you so much!
In California because of a new prop, the order payout can increase to match minimal hourly rates.
Hey dude I just signed up for instacart with your referral code. Keep up the great work and I can’t wait for your getting started on CZcams video.
Here's another reason for hidden pay. If you accept a delivery and through no fault of your own are unable to pickup the order, you can contact support to receive half pay. I've received half pay due to Walmart having given the order to another dasher, McDonald's due to them not having the order show up for them and Phat Jerry's due to the fact that they don't do doordash orders.
I can't accept a job that is less than $7. If I do, I will make less than $10/hour, after deducting car expenses. This is because I can only average 2 deliveries per hour, considering waiting at restaurants and finding apartments.
I've done shop and deliver orders here in northern Kentucky. Most are for CVS or Walgreens. Pay outs are usually good but as usual I accept dependent on miles and pay out amount 👍
I’ve run into hidden tips situation quite often. I don’t think customers add more tip after drop off by contacting the dash support. Doordash simply hides tip in order to prevent us from picking cherry when accepting order requests.
I definitely have gotten $3 or $4 orders because I live near Paterson and Newark and the moment I get remotely close to these, they start coming to me so I have moved where I start and go to...I try to stay near restaurants and certain highways and I have noticed I get higher offers and tips.
Fredericksburg Virginia , Sometimes declining all orders your time especially when all the orders your receiving after you decline still have low desirability. You should really just know your market place that’s all!
Love you
This is my first week and I can only do 2-3 hours at a time for the past 5 days, I have made $287 so far. I feel like I waste so much time driving from one location to another...need to figure out how to get places near each other despite I live in the suburbs.
New Dasher love your channel, QUESTION If you get a stacked order, and you know your going to be late for first order, what reason do you give if customer asks why your late thx 😉
Text customer and let them know you have a second order.
When I get a stacked order I always text the second drop off that I have one delivery before them and I text them again when I leave the 1st drop off and I’m on the way to them. They are usually very appreciative of the communication. If you don’t let them know it just looks like we are goofing off and not getting to them. They are not informed in the dd app. If it’s a Uber eats it will let the customer know you have another drop off before them.
You don't have to go to support... I added a tip myself on Doordash afterward on an order just last week. But I agree with you - more than likely it isn't happening as frequently as I am seeing it.
I do similar but doordash is market loves to take you way out the zone and into the ghetto since I live in Central valley, so I'll let it take me to the rich areas and end my night when I get near my home to try to maximize my mileage
In L.A. County, i get about 5% of orders that the amount is greater after delivered... i think that DD algos are calculating the offer for similar orders for the future, instead of $21, they show you an $18 order, when completed without complications, next time, similar orders, the value will be around $16-$18, just my opinion...
The main problem I have with Stop and Stop orders is app is not set up like my shopping apps. Example pictures and scanning. Can really suck time if shopping for unfamiliar items.
I also think peak pay bonus doesn’t matter much in California due to prop 22 that’s taken effect this year.
Curious if doordash steals ! I filed a complaint with doordash on multiple no tip customers and I would get a payout titled other - are they paying me because they agree with the customer not paying or because the customer actually provided a tip???
Winston Salem NC $100-$120/30-40 miles per 4 to 5 hours a day using all your methods
25-30 per hour in High Point
Iv'e been muti-apping but in my area, I hate Uber. ive gone to several restaurants that havent even started the food when i got there. Also several times another drive has goten the food before I got there (i dont understand how that happens). I think the Uber app is all around worse as well.
I think if the end point is close to freeway that's a big + by default
I was surprised that I got a Walmart order yesterday. I did not have to shop which was nice, but didn't know how much stuff the gal had bought until the Walmart guy brought me the order. It was a huge grocery shop that filled the entire trunk of my car. Wowza. But all I had to do was pull into the pickup area and put what number I was parked at in the DD app. I also called them too since I had never done a dash like that before.
I also just got my DD red card today. So I am really hoping that I will get the bigger and better orders now.
Similar to what I've experienced on Shipt, not knowing exactly how large some of these orders can get.
I love in the suburbs so I feel like my commuting is far for most orders...I am finding I’m only getting maybe $1-1.25 per mile...I think It’s my area, North Jersey...not sure
Simple strategy accept a delivery order within your delivery area not less than $3/ mile. Within 3 miles radius .
Don’t accept any order which throws you way far out your delivery area. Because you won’t get any order there. Even if you getting $2/ mile destination is 8 miles not your delivery area. You are actually driving 16 miles on return. You are actually making $1/ M. Your cost/ mile as per IRS 57C. After that your making 43C per mile. For delivery/ pickup / drop of service.
Don’t become slave to the system. No gratuity/ Tip No delivery. Simple is that.
Im in North Phoenix, and from 5:30 PM I declined 68 door dash orders, and ended up making $78. Uber eats, I declined 18 orders, and made $240. From 5:30pm to 2:30am So for 9 hours. made over $300 But the door dash orders are better after midnight, $9 for 2 miles. etc....Dunno why.. but Uber Eats is over all alot better paying.
Does anyone know or can confirm the following.... When you show up to pick up an order and it's not ready, there is an option to let DD know what is causing your wait, to apparently help improve driver experience for that location. 3 out of 5 times I've done that (just started using the feature), my payout has been increased after delivery.
Yes and it doesn’t make it late if you say they are still working on your order
I feel like I'm snitching on the restaurant
@@gheezymarro8755 They gotta step it up and get those orders ready faster.
Hi Mike, I must admit I kinda of disagree with decline now movement of $6 and $7 orders. Some of these orders can be a very short drive so it's worth accepting them.. In general what I try to do is looking at staying in location that has 3-4 restaurant and it's happened to be very closed to my house which is a win win for me.
Yup. I don't deliver no further than 2 miles away just like a true delivery driver. Unless I'm done for the day and I'm heading in that direction.
And for all dashers out there if a customer do not tip. Decline the order ! They do not deserve to have their food delivered
They are offering $200 to complete 25 rides for the weekend.
I took the challenge, made $720, from Fri 3:pm to Sun. 5:pm, worked about 35 hrs.. I was pumped, made 53 deliveries in L.A County. I wanted to see if maybe they would give a 2nd $200 for the 2nd 25 deliveries, no such luck, lol, but I'm jazzed with my results...

Been driving for about 6 months on DOORDASH.
How do u like it
Hi Mike! Did DD reactivate your account or you still waiting?
I should not have to tip if I don't get my food. Or if it comes late.
You should do a video on extended mile orders. Door dash gives me orders for 23+miles!
I got one today fir 13 miles for $6! I was like NO WAY!
DoorDash doesn’t give me the option to decline? They only have the accept button
3 weeks. Help me! I've made 400 so far this week but I know I'm doing things I shouldn't.
Made 1500 first week
Aim for 1.75 because gas prices have risen and will continue to do so.
Doordash definitely hides tips, they actually tell you in the information on their website, totally isn't an opinion. They say any order over 7$ (without peak pay) can be higher.
And drivers are specifically shown on every order "total may be higher" which is very interesting. Never really happened too often for me, as mentioned seemingly when orders were $10+ and an odd amount
Grub hub is the least insulting app with low pay orders
Nothing wrong with declining Crap orders
8.00 or decline los angeles
Anderson S. C
Almost a year. Full time now.
what apps do you use?
Any order offered to me less than $8.50 I decline 99% of the time.
This isn’t going to work out how Dashers think it will. If DoorDash is forced to double its labor costs, they will need to increase fees. At that point, the business model is no longer viable. This is a short term play, at best.
Hidden amounts?? 😯🤔
Base + Promo + Tip??
Sippin on gin n juice....
