I passed my test at 21 then within 2 weeks I was long distance ropping and sheeting off the docks at Runcorn and Glasson. Double dollies!! Would a driver of today know what I'm talking about? I doubt it!!! Love your videos by the way. Top drawer. I used to drive for Moss and Lovett near Macclesfield back in the day.. have you got any pictures? I'd love to look back at the good old days when lorry driving was actually driving a lorry and it not driving you!!

Those were the days when you actually drove a lorry!!!! I'm old school. Drivers today have it too easy with auto boxes. Would they know what a 2 speed axle was? I don't think so!!!!! Steering wheel attendants that's all they are these days. Shame.
