Ppl like Bell’s character and her brother are the reason I stopped being friendly just to be nice. They actually see you as bothering them and will just stab you in the back. (But then she’d be a monster for not inviting them, right?) 🙄
This seems like one of those movies where the “main characters” are actually the ones that are shitty people and fuck everything up. Just watching this trailer I feel bad for the girl getting married.
The book actually made me very angry with the treatment of the sister who is getting married. Its made clear from the start of the book that her family is terrible, but even with that knowledge it was a hard read.
I think Imma have to do one month prime, then Netflix, then HBO Max, then Showtime, Then Bet+, then Hulu, cause my pockets cannot afford all these gems that these streaming networks keep dropping.

Wow, the bride is ol' whatsername from Numenor or wherever... (LOTR: The Rings of Power) and I've seen the actor playing the copper in the opening bit sing operatically on 8 Out of 10 Cats (Lloyd Griffth - he's hilarious AND a sings in a choir - weird, I know!)

Meh. Anyone who disses the Paddington move on a long-haul flight is lame. That movie is better than a lot of Wes Anderson movies. I hope this is funny, great cast.
Currently half way through this movie. it does seem to be very haphazardly put together. There are some poor casting choices, the stories are all over the place. Even the soundtrack is lackluster. There is an offensive gay storyline/characters that is just one trope after the other. I ❤ Kristen and Alison so much but this movie seems to be a messy. Not sure what I was expecting but… yeah it is hard work!
