So, just a heads up for ya to make it easier. If you put your radar in INLV and LO or CHAFF you can pick then up far faster and and regardless of aspect. Oh and VCTR instead of INLV can be use when you get a ghost ping to verify if it's a contact or not, more so to see helis chillin on the deck. Cheers and thanks for the video 👍
I personally just don't manipulate the GMTR option anymore after the initial release of the F-15E b/c setting it to low increases the chances for false alarms on the radar and dramatically moreso when in MPRF. Setting it any higher is not something I want to do either since it makes the radar significantly easier to notch. I do use VCTR now and then, but just for very long range detection over a very narrow sky b/c that scan time is not something that's very useful when you get to shorter ranges. Didn't know it helps with ghosting contacts tho, that might be useful.
about 10 mins before you got to the base for bomb drop.... i signed off as GCI as i had to run ... so they were blind on your ingress :) but great fight none the less :) you were smacking blind tomcats and fulcrums :D
Weren’t there other red GCIs? I’m sure they covered for you. Plus, blue GCI wasn’t much help anyways so I was blind going in myself

@@PrezDCS NVM, its 1997. I believe the F-18 got GPS in 97 and L16. The F-15E got EGI and JTIDS in 1998 but I understand EGI was available in the mission since it has some serious synch issues in MN or INS.
So, I guess you made back to base ok.
Yeah, cruised back home at M1.7 55kft. Was about a 600NM round trip
