I have been in that situation and it can really be frustrating. Unfortunately, there is no direct way to correct the mistake. Domain registration is final.
However, I was able to edit mine by reporting to my domain registrar and they were willing to delete that away from my dashboard and add the correct one since I reported the issue within 24 hours of purchasing the domain. It was just a favour.
You can also try the same. If it doesn't then you need to register a new one. There are platforms like Namecheap, Namesilo, Dynadot where you can get very cheap domain names.
