What's With All The Engines? The New Mess I Created

- Today we dive into what Joe's latest purchase was.
You could see the engine cases and cylinder heads hanging on the mezzanine the last few videos. Well, here is the story. I became an instant air cooled VW collector.
I have now come to the realization that I do have a problem. I need to quit buying more stuff, it has gotten out of hand and we are well out of room. I think a storage container or two may be in order. I don't need to clog up the Land Rover shop ( I mean we already have a Chevy encroaching).
We'll get this mess sorted out and be back on the Land Rovers in the next one.

It is DEFINITELY an ADDICTION brother .😂 At my age , I don't re-build Vdub parts . Now I just assemble NEW parts , its a lot CLEANER 👍 . But sadly I probably would have bought all the goodies too 😁
Truly at the end of the day I’m a sucker for a good story. And this is going to be a great “remember when” 10-20 years down the road.
I agree that new is so much more pleasant to deal with. Although I think I will assemble one of the engines to have around for a just in case thing.
Nobody else could have managed to lose a door and reverse over it with a trailer and not damage it at all!
You need to build a storage unit now or just sell the USA supply of VW cylinder heads you now own!
If I didn’t have dumb luck I wouldn’t have any luck at all, or however that saying goes.
I think the latter would be a smarter option.

There is so many possibilities haha. But no I’m hoping to have most of it moved on before the end of the year.

The grey one is an older industrial air unit and is pretty nice.
Please don't get a couple of shipping containers.....that will just legitimise your hoarding. Deal with the stuff, get it sold, move on. DO NOT put it in storage, or it will never leave.

@@LostCauseRanch keeping them they where from my old engine. So if i ever decide to do another rover engine rebuild I will get a 4.0 and put the crank and rods in it with the 4.0 pistons
