Oh my God this is my old doctor. He and my old kidney doctor Marshal Fishman saved my life back in 1990-91. From kidney failure. I was in the hospital during this time for a month in Cedar Sinai hospital and this man is brilliant. When it comes to lupus. Or SLE like I have. His the best all over Southern California. I wish there were two or three of him. He was my doctor from 1987 till 1994. God bless you Dr. Wallace. I miss you.

Very much so this is a very disabiltating disease with stress you have very bad muscle spasms allover the body the general stomach area and it affects your joints cartilage etc. If a person's not knowledgeable about this it will eventually result in severe health issues!

Dr. Merrill is a little too sarcastic. Medicine needs none of the emotions of cynicism. We need RCTs and intelligent people who are focused on finding solutions to Lupus. Snarky jokes, mocking inuendos do NOTHING for medicine. As a nephrologist, I treat lupus daily, so we are fully aware of the ramifications of this disease. She seems like she has not really grown up. She is really intelligent but her delivery and PERSONAL feelings destroyed her presentation. Medicine needs medical solutions, not politics or feelings!! If she could extract her feelings and give us what we need to know to practice good medicine, we would be the wiser.
