இன்றைய காலத்தில் ஆளாளுக்கு தன்னைத்தானே உபன்யாசகர்கள் என்றும் ஆய்வாளர்கள் என்றும் முன்னிருத்திக் கொண்டு, தங்களை அறிவுஜீவிகளாக காட்டிக் கொள்ள ஶ்ரீராமயணத்தையும் மஹாபாரதத்தையும் மேற்கோள் காட்டி வயிறு வளர்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர்.
அவர்கள் வயிறு வளர்ப்பது பற்றி கவலையில்லை. ஆனால் தான் ஏதோ ஆராய்ச்சி செய்து ராமர் பிறந்த தேதியை சரியாக கணித்துவிட்டது போலே துஷ்யந்த் ஶ்ரீதர் மற்றும் ஜெயஶ்ரீ சாரநாதன் ஆகியோர் யுட்யூப் யுட்யூப் சேனலாக சென்று, main stream mediaக்களில் தான் ஏதோ வசிஷ்டரை விட மேலானவர்கள் போல காட்டிக் கொண்டிருப்பது கண்டிக்கப்படுவேண்டும். கண்டிக்கப்படுகிறது.
இவர்கள் ஊரை ஏமாற்ற சொல்வது "நாங்கள் சொல்வதை மறுத்து எந்த ஆசார்யரோ உபன்யாச்கரோ பண்டிதரோ ஏதும் சொல்லாததால் நாங்கள் சொன்னது சரி" என்பது. இவர்களை ஒரு பொருட்டாகவே ஆசார்யர்களும் உபன்யாசகர்களும் பண்டிதர்களும் மதிப்பதில்லை என்பதால்தான் இவர்களுக்கு மறுப்பு சொல்வதே ஒரு பாவச் செயல் என்று கருதுகின்றனர்.
இருப்பினும் தர்மத்தை நிலைநாட்ட நாம் செய்ய வேண்டிய கடமையை செய்ய வேண்டும். ஆசார்யர்களின் அபிப்ராயத்தை தெரிந்து கொள்ள என்னுடைய ஆசார்யனான ஶ்ரீமான் உ.வே. திருப்புல்லாணி சுந்தரராஜன் ஸ்வாமி அவர்களிடம் இது குறித்து கேட்டு அதை பதிவு செய்து உங்களுடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறேன்.
போலிகள் என்னை வேண்டுமென்றாலும் வசவு பாடலாம். நான் சொல்வதெல்லாம் ஆசார்யர்களிடம் கற்றதை கிளிப்பிள்ளை போல திரும்பச் சொல்வதும் அதை அனுஷ்டிப்பதும் மட்டுமே! என்னை இகழ்ந்தவர்கள் ஆசார்யர்களை இகழ துணிவர்களா?!!
நினைவில் இருக்கட்டும். ஊடகங்களில் வருவதெல்லாம் உண்மையாகிவிடாது. ஒரு ஆசார்யனிடம் அடிபணிந்து கற்பதே கல்வி. அதுவே உண்மை. அதுவே ஜ்ஞானம். மற்றவை எல்லாம் வெத்துவேட்டு!!

You have proved it once again. Every body on their own talks about hindu puranam by doing upanyasam. It requires lot of reading knowledge which they do not possess.
And I certainly do not possess . In that case listening just to the Rama nama that is splashed across any upanyasam by itself is a great opportunity. That's how I see it. Since I don't have that kind of reading or knowledge, upanyasam by anybody brings in whatever little it can to me . I only feel indebted to them. I see no point in this argument. We are moving away from the goal for which this group has been serving

Here again according to Thiru THIRUPPULLANI SWAMIGAL, different Puranas say different periods about Lord Sri Ram's birth for which there are NO authentic proof but Shri Dushyant Shridhar qoutes scientific reasoning on the subject. So one can make his own inferences. Shri RN has unnecessarily created an ABOUDABLE controversy giving fodder to atheists.
The problem is, real researchers like Dr. Ranganji Anna who has a great authority on Srimad Ramayana is not known to as many Indians as should be the case. As a result of this, misinformation seems to be spreading faster than before in the age of internet.
But several think that i am a black spot and a person who always finds faults. That tells that several have already been mislead. Probably too late
@@OurTemples There are few humans that seek depth. Audiences seem to get swayed by glib and smooth talkers. Every one is a writer these days with poor imagination and unoriginal plots who seem to like offering their own spin to the already existing stories from Puranas and Ithihasas. The only consolation is if they refrain from tainting the characters of these stories. But real research cannot be done if there is no true bhakthi or surrender. And it may be overambitious for us to expect from people that succumb to fame and limelight and accolades. The best thing that we can continue to do is to perhaps advocate for truth and present facts with irrefutable citation and references.

This is not an attempt to oppose or support anybody. Only to put things in perspective. I have watched many interviews of Ms. Jayasree, read many of her writings. Heard many interviews of Sri. Dushyant Sridhar. They are all well reasoned, based on their own understanding of the concepts. They are well within their rights to do so.Whether they are right or wrong is a different matter. What is clear is that their versions are well intentioned. I appreciate their efforts- esp.in these fraught times- in trying to explain certain things of our religion to the vast majority of Hindus, who otherwise, cannot afford to or have easy access to these aspects. Again I say they do it with good intentions. Sri Rangarajan is also doing the same thing. Therefore, it looks odd and painful to see someone using personally attacking comments against the other. Anybody is free to critise only others versions and not them personally in derogatory or damaging terms. I would request Mr.Rangarajan to desist from getting impetuous, which would damage the fabric permanently for ever.

Whether the community accepts it or not, vadakalai sampradayam people limited or restricted themselves in several ways.
1. They stopped at 6000 padi not moving further which actually details intrinsic and esoteric meanings.
2. Pasurappadi ramayanam was also not touched due to periya vachan pillai’s connection.
With these many limitations how can they understand or perceive intrinsic matters be it hagiographic or prabandham vyakhyanams?
I have seen several videos of them closely affiliated with other mathams(saiva prominently) rather thennacharya sampradayam.
This is very hard to digest yet it is the fact!

@@OurTemples adiyen, I’m not generalizing. But the fact with vadakalai remains the same due to their restricted mentality. Coming to jayasree, that is borrowed over mentality no big difference. I can also say few srirangam acharya purushas who are thennacharyas and strongly affiliated to saiva parampara without an iota of knowledge on rahasya granthams.

I didnt say a word on ahobila mutt but based on so many works any one with half brain can say shashta paraankusa jeeyar’s kalai. Now let me ask you can you come up with 74000 padi and its vyakhyanam what it deals with? There is nothing "outlandish" about this. If you have already framed an opinion that the world was born only 10000 years ago or something like that then everything else will appear "outlandish" as you are looking at it through the lens of your preconceived notions.
Science and scientists are limited by the tools and methods available at the time of research and exploration. They are not infallible. There are instances where something stated by Scientist A was disproved by Scientist B several years later. Atom was considered indivisible and later, was declared to have proton, neutron and electron.
So, it is actually outlandish to do ludicrous acrobatics with our Ithihasa Purana information just so to make them tally with the "scientific" or "indologist" view.

Why do you want to dispute science? There is enough proof to show that the universe started even before the big bang , as per the latest pictures released by James webb telescope. It's possible to date a structure using many dating methods. While Dushyanth agrees about the billions of years of earth's life, he also feels Rama would have lived a few 1000 years ago. As per the multiverse theory, there are many Ramas living in different universes with differing origins. Our universe may have started a billion years later.
Who is he? An astronomer? A researcher? Who are you btw?
The point is not about what Mr Dushyanth Sridhar agrees with. The point is about what our Maharishis have actually stated in Ithihasa Puranas. If Mr Dushyanth Sridhar agrees with indologists' view then he may as well call himself an indologist and not present himself as a traditional Upanyasakar / Harikathakarar.
