Less passive noice canceling on Sport buds is by design. Actually the reason why I chose them over QC. I do want to hear what's happening around me when running/cycling. Otherwise I'd have to roll with one ear bud.

Okay. I don’t normally comment on these vids, reviews are just that - personal reviews of a subjective experience. That’s fair. But, respectfully, this review is far too biased. The very premise of the video is to illustrate why the Sport buds are worse than the others. That means, you only ever look for cons with the Sport buds, as that serves the purpose and premise of your original idea with the vid. You barely even look for evidence of the contrary. I respect that there’s an idea to the video, and that this is an angle to attract views. The viewer, however, is left with little but an impression that to just consider the Sport buds is a total waste. I’ve had Bose earbuds before, and I didn’t care for them, so I get the point of being critical. I just think this goes overboard. Cred where cred is due, though - you have taken the time to purchase, test and film your experience with the earbuds, and that’s more than I’ve ever done!

I have the Sport buds, and one of the reasons I love them is that I could dance a jig standing on my head and they absolutely will not fall out of my ears. Every other earbuds I've ever owned have fallen out at one time or another. They're also comfortable and don't ever hurt when I use them for long periods.
As for the sound quality, there is a night and day difference between using them with my iPhone and using them with my Galaxy. If I only had the iPhone, I would be looking for a different set of buds. They sound pretty crummy paired to it. But they sound great with my Galaxy, and that's what I use most often anyway. (My Galaxy has an equalizer, so I didn't even notice that the earbuds didn't.)
And, for better or worse, I just don't give a crap what the case looks like.
I think I'll be upgrading to the QC soon.

  • @zeissiez

On sound quality alone, the Bose Sport Earbud is not bad, for instance, it’s quite a bit better than AirPod Pro. I also like its soundstaging more than Galaxy Buds Pro. The Bose QC does have a warmer sound and a more robust low end. But given the price difference, on sound quality alone, I actually think the Sport is a better buy.

Feels like clouds on your ears they block sound good conection good and now has volume control for 160 its so good. The old sports had rubber button that break when rubbber wore out. These new sports have all hard plastic shell same as qc. 100 dollars more for a wider heaver ear bud for anc and have the sane plastic quality build. 160 vs 280. Buy the sports

The QC are great once you figure out how to fit them correctly. Was a learning curve, but figured out you have to have bud aim upward and turn downward so wing sit on inner ridge of ear. Manual show different and reason people have issues with pain in ear after a while, or wing popping out. Take a second to put on now and comfortable once I figured them out. I almost returned them at first.
Mic and audio quality is good on the QC version and noise canceling is much better then the Sony and airpod pros I tried.

Just sayin'. Though the QC earbuds just hold a longer charge altogether, both alone and with the case, so on that alone they win. The Sport earbuds actually have bluetooth 5.1, unless you were using a prototype before they became widely available. Totally agree with you on the app being essentially useless. What is the point of having one if they only allow you such virtually useless control??

This guy just said the Bose Sport’s sound like a $70 headphone… he really has no idea what he’s talking about!! 😂 Go grab some basic AirPods, the Bose buds blow them out of the water without competition! Jheez, what a review

I tried bose and they were great but i found them hard to use them for too long without having to take them out and fix them. maybe it was the tips that were too large or too small idk. They felt super uncomfortable despite many people saying they were amazing.

@@vamsibalireddi5186 I almost returned them for same reason. It was a learning curve but figured out how to fit them. I assume it was like what they showed in manual and it is incorrect, as could not get them to fit without pain, or wing popping out of ear. You have to put them and that position at first and then turn the buds upwards and then wings downward and rest in inner ridge in ear. After doing that and figuring out size they are comfortable and use them for hours at a time without them falling out. I when with the QC version, they are much better then the airpod pros and mics are better then the Sony 1000xm3 I have which are good music wise.

The Sport Buds are complete shit for being Bose let alone the price point. I immediately returned mine. I mean how can the ANC pair have MORE BASS than the sport ones? I personally think workout buds should be a bit more focused on bass for that extra umph for the workout or run

Bose have been resting on their reputation for years in both headphones and earbuds.
The NC700 are decent but you can see Sony leapfrogging them in everything but microphones and comfort with the XM3’s and XM4’s.

Bose are the worst head phones I've ever used. The preform great, but the constantly disconnect and unpair every time I use them. As of right now, they won't connect at all. They are expensive and disappointing as hell.

bit rate has a lot to do with being able to tell if something sounds like shit or not regardless of how much you paid and or what the brand is. Have had better luck with $15 earbuds than $150 when actually knowing this lol

Now my right side port WILL NOT WORK!!! F***!!! WTF?!?!? 1 drop? From 3 feet !?
