The size is to create that unmistakable great sound quality. If it were easy to make music sound fantastic with small earbuds, every company would do it. Despite the drawbacks of size and no multi-point usage, wireless charging case, it's difficult to deny they sound rock solid with great audio. Keep in mind, they are smaller than their predecessors, the Bose Soundsport Free.

My husband just bought me a pair of these today. A quick check of the Bluetooth connection to my phone (which was only able through the Bose App) and a Pandora song turned out a fabulous experience when listening to music. To me, your phone should have eq settings so I don't worry about that with the earbuds, whatever is coming through my phone should be the experience I receive on the end-user side. I have a Pixel 4XL and it's got some great internal sound anyway. I do love the fit, as that's an issue for little ears and other types of earbuds at a lower price point. I'm super excited to give these a shot. Thank you for your review.

activate the swipe up and down on right bud to control volume and as someone has already stated, there is an EQ adjustable through the app.
Plus you can use left bud to go back or forward with track selection. You have to set that feature up because you have defaults to the left bud so you can customize the left bud.. Maybe you should have downloaded the app before

There is no point to have more than 5 hours or battery life do you really work out for more than 5 hours in a row ? Most I do is 3 and the fit is the most important aspect of any earbud which they absolutely nailed you don’t want any sort of noise Cancelling because you Need to hear your surroundings I would never have it on anyway and that is just the Bose sound signature not too much bass because most music isn’t about the bass it’s about everything else the bass keeps rhythm and helps drive the song but it should not be the thing you are listening to or focused on it’s the vocals it’s the trumpets it’s the mid range to hi tones

I have the sports this guy is making a huge issue over nothing. I've never had a top teir brand headphone and my mind was blown with the sport. Also you can use your phone in the sound settings to adjust the bass levels to the earbuds. And damn that bass is punchy and clean, and still not over powering the vocals highs or mids. They fit snug as hell and you can easily sleep with them on at night. They almost feel as if there not even on your head. Absolutely brilliant. My only concern is that the LEDs on the ear peices stay on in the case which will very slowly drain battery. The case also does nit have a tight seal so you can see the lights through the cracks, and maybe that was intentional for users to see if charging is done without popping the case open. Overall I'm blown away with these.

At first I was disappointed to know that it doesn't have active noise cancellation (I expected it), and the buds were falling off my ear during activities involving jerking moments. Out of the box they sound good, but with a few tweaks they easily outperform all the contestants in their price range in terms of sound quality. Weirdly, I found the "Classic" and "R&B" equaliser settings the best for these (on Spotify). I don't get what Gamesky means when he says "they don't have enough bass", they make my brain shake on these settings.
Yes they lack features. Yes they are a bit expensive. No, nothing beats them in the sound department.

Lol some negative comments here. The video is comparing this earbuds to some non water and sweat resistant earbuds, and it’s completely out of context. This is sport earbuds, so of course compare to non water resistant with similar price this Bose will be ‘slightly behind’ 😂
The sound quality of this earbuds is amazing, even without EQ, and adjusting it through Spotify will make it even better. So much details, dynamic bass, basically very accurate.
Only the battery life and lack volume button that aren’t good here. But the comfort? Amazing. It may be bigger than some others but still acceptable. Even if Airpods Pro cost this much? I’ll still go for Bose Sport.

Bose have really blown it with their new 2 sets of buds, waited a long time along with many others and no. I have now bought on the Amazon day a set of the techniques buds which are amazing. Had them for 150. I am now going to wait for the new Sony’s which I am also not holding out a great deal of hope for based on their recent releases and later next year the AirPod pro 2’s. I may take a look at the new Jabra 85t though, wonder how the semi open back design with 12.5 diam drivers will sound, if it’s just even deeper thumping base them won’t bother, if they have a decent sound stage, separation and mids then could be tempted. But hero and sidekick again, really Jabra. Gamesky we need the new entrants to give the encumbant, sitting on their morals a good kick in the arse.

I may have misunderstood you, but I thought that swiping up and down on the right earbud is the volume control. That being said, I would much rather press a small button like on the previous model. If I’m supposedly being active how do I swipe when I’m in the middle of jogging or doing something at work without stopping what I’m doing. I thought the previous model with the round case was far superior. They were louder, and they were simple. For me, when I’m doing something outdoors like working I don’t want fancy bells and whistles on my headphones or any kind of delicate touch sensor. Most of the times I have mud on my hands and it’s just not practical. I could really go on and on about how much more I like the last model but I think you get the point. I did not notice a find my headphones feature on this one either. I’ve used that feature on the last pair I had several times to find a missing case of earbuds. I’m not sure what Bose was doing here, I’m guessing they were trying to make them more sleek and technological, but for people that truly do have an active lifestyle I think this was a swing and a miss.
