The leader angstrom was the only one who didn’t have beef with mark

Angstrom Levy is a prime (yet tragic) example.

Angstrom spent so much time killing alternative Invincibles he forgot he was trying to save him in the beginning

There's a fan theory that because the main universe's Mark Grayson got his powers so late compared to other Viltrumites & his other versions, he didn't spend years being trained by Omni-Man to follow Viltrumite customs & support their Empire taking over the Earth compared to all of the other Mark Graysons from other universes, hence why they lacked the empathy for humanity our Mark Grayson has.
It's not really a theory since it's true in the comics for some Marks. One killed Omniman and never joined him, another chose to join Nolan when he started to go with his plan, another was just straight up from a dimension where everyone was more evil, etc. When Invincible War hopefully season 3 happens all those Marks will show up.
I like to think the reason why main universe Mark didn't become evil, was because his dad got into enjoying the small human aspects of life, during that one baseball game. Leading to a chain reaction of small but significant changes, that led to him being a slightly better 'human', which led to him accidentally teaching Mark about the value of humanity

Angstrom was not a smart as he thought he was. Instead for pulling Angstroms from other dimensions why not put all the bad Invincibles & Omni Men in one desolate universe and leave them. Before Nolan and Mark could have realized what was happening they could have been in another dimension. Would have loved to see all bad Viltrumites in the dinosaur dimension. 700k Marks & Nolans on that one dimension and the Raptors trying to eat them.

He wouldn't have an emotional crutch for each and every one of them. Mark was holding back against Angstrom until he got too fast for him. Angstrom kept holding Mark's family hostage which his original version would never do. Nolan is drastically too fast for any version of Angstrom. Angstrom had a physical stat boost and still lost the fight. It was Mark's green nature in not "fighting like a Viltrumite" that made Angstrom last so long that the alternates would be masters in. The first 5 minutes show Mark killing a century long superhero without even flinching, or caring compared to our Mark nearly losing it having a justified kill
