- Clip demonstrating the tire carcass of a F-Trainer realistically flexing under load - both physics of the carcass and the visual representation of its dynamics are revised in V1.5 to a much more realistic representation of each car in the game.

Everybody hanging out for the big update and we get this ultra detailed little clip with no context. And I love it!
I just tried 1.5 and things are feeling amazing. Not gonna lie, it was very frustrating to drive some of the car classes previously but I just did a short A.I. race in the VW Tdi’s at Salvador and the cars felt very controllable and intuitive - that’s exactly what I want from a sim and you guys nailed it. Excellent work!

Funny. Before. everyone said ams 2 is so realistic and the best. People that criticized it for strange behavior etc where banned or laught at. Now they fixing the terrible car behavior and people suddenly forgot that other people got hated exactly for that pointing it out years ago.
Don´t think many people said it was either best or perfect - we certainly didn´t! However opinions on what "terrible" and "best" is tend to be very subjective; we think something can be good in parts and not in others, or that the overall can be good still with plenty of room to get better. Even though the room for improvements is gradually reducing, we feel any simulator can always be made better and that remains the case even after v1.5. Users in turn can have their takes as to how good it is (if they find it any good at all) with no repercussions so long as they are civil about it.
its same for kunos , RF2 or any other sim. forums or other official media is filled with fanboys who think everything about their sim is perfect , no one is allowed to criticize.
OK, but when is release? Until now, rF2 with GT3-pack is king of the ring!

Great update aside from one issue I'm seeing...
when setting up a MP session you set it to "same class" yet ALL cars are STILL available to drive....? What gives here??
only remedy is setting to a preset which then forces you to change the session settings to those you ACTUALLY wanted in the 1st place...
Yeah a minor issue but still damned annoying to contend with!

So basically the same clip from Project Cars 2 about ten years ago, except until v1.5 your version of tyres were bugged beyond belief running dual/borked simulations

This was a legacy bug in the code which we have now fixed. The visual flex is a cool representation of what´s going on in the tire physics, but it´s only of value if the deformation is accurate to the loads the carcass is being put under - which they are now.
I used to love Reiza for what they did with AMS1. Now, with every year that passes and they don't update their rFactor2 DLC, I hate them more. Especially when they release yet another piece of content for AMS2. FFS UPDATE YOUR PAID RF2 DLC AT LAST!!! YOUR TREES LOOK LIKE SALAD IN IMOLA!!1
Kunos let their cars do the talking. They don’t need to sell their sim with tech documentaries before releasing a patch. 🤨
Dude one of the main guys at Kunos does an hours-long technical dissertation after every release on his YT channel 😂
