Cop's Unexpected Visit Leaves Us in Shock!

- I stopped by to mow an Elderly Man's lawn that was Overgrown and full of leaves. I was almost completed with the yard when a cop stopped his car and approached me to see what I was doing. After talking to the cop, he thanked us for our work and wanted to make sure we were safe. I've neer experienced such a nice Cop stopping by to just check on me. Shoutout to the Battle Creek Police Department.

I know firsthand how you are feeling about a dog continually barking. I live next door to a dog that barks from the second he/she is let out, until the second it's let back in. NON STOP!!! 😩🙉😱

The problem with push mowers is , if you can't fix them yourself the cost of repairs by a shop quickly reaches or exceeds the cost of a new one. Many people aren't in a financial position to buy a new one. It's easy to become overwhelmed and give up. "Just go buy a new mower" isn't an option for many

That dog barking has nothing on my dog. The pound picked my dog up once and brought him back to the spot he picked him up at because he said he couldnt stand the nonstop barking after a few hours. (My big dog had dug a hole under my fence that he had escaped through. That was the only time he ever got out of the yard). After that I took him to the vet to get him ‘fixed’ thinking it would help but when I went to pick him up the lady working at the front told me that he was a bad dog, a very bad dog and told me that he barked until he became sedated and upon his sedation wearing off and him beginning to become alert his barking began again and he barked until I got there to pick him up and bring him home.
Treasures? You’re so funny. Who’s Mark? Who’s Chris? So many things left unsaid or unexplained. Who is this guy who doesn’t fix his mowers to mow his own yard? How did you find him? You hoping he will be able to keep it up after you two get it caught up? He said he’s been there for 9 yrs … 🤔 Like you said, there are times you have to ask for help 🙂. I know you save these people a lot of money (let alone the time you save them) by preventing fines, clearing, cleaning up and mowing their lawns. I wonder how much you save them on the preventative side of things. Vines growing into their roof or climbing up the side of their homes - if left and allowed to grow, they will ruin the structural integrity of their homes.

The owner should get rid of a lot of stuff in his garden when he do not use them. The fence also needs to be taken care of. It is good that you collected the cut grass an leaves from the lawn.
Sounds like stale gas or possible clogged fuel lines. Can also be the Carb and ports.

No ,those broken down mowers should go to…..maybe a school for young people to practice and learn from. We took a couple of old vehicles and they really appreciated it. Or maybe there is a mechanic that would enjoy repairing them and the needy could use them again. Or even go as Eric does and they might learn it an easy fix….there are just so many possibilities. Or find 4 young lads with nothing to do and have them over of an evening or Sat morning and have a workshop with them. You just might plant some wonderful seeds in these you lads. You might be the male figure they lack at home. Life offers us so many wonderful opportunities to service and at the same time have a great time! Think about it.
MY EX was an auto mechanic but would not work on our mowers. When one stopped working he would get a new one. We had 3 riding mowers and 2 push mowers at one time, all needing work. I would take the push mower to be repaired because I could easily load that in my car to take to the shop.. He also wouldn't do the mowing.
