i remember when Lee Sin first came out. I Q'd a guy that was teleporting and did the follow up flying kick as he teleported and ended up following across the ENTIRE map, going from top lane to bot lane. That was a great momment seeing Lee sin fly across the map :D
It was hilarious, i died so many times by turret shots while i was flying across the map :D

14:00 as a toplaner, this entire bit sounds like heaven on earth. Made me remember why I wanted to main top back in season 5, it was more or less the exact same role as mid, only being more seperated from the rest of the team. I liked the 1vs1 aspect you got in early game at that time and since midlane was super popular, it was easier to get to play toplane as the second 1vs1 lane when calling roles.
I really miss those days where junglers dident get to decide which toplaner wins lane

tbh gripex doesn't stand out above average lee main, he's just a fanboy of the champion, he does literally all tricks every lee main know and can do even in lower elo

Exil I have to say thank you for these videos. I haven’t really kept up with the league community since season 5 and now only play occasional games with irl friends. most of favorite champions (poppy, galio, quinn, etc) were either reworked or completely forgotten so I fell out of the loop. All these sentimental memories are returning and just thank you for covering old content new players aren’t aware of. Thats all thanks dude

I actually saw it once. We got wrecked by a smurf player in Plat 2. His name was only numbers but he had a 86% winrate on Lee sin on his 60 games he played thus far. Maybe was one of these Chinese players who moved to EU while world's were taking place. Insane mechanic.. We tried to look if we can do it.. I can't.. but maybe with a few month more Lee sin gameplay. :D

I play in china, everybody plays lee sin and a 100k mastery lee sin can pull it off no matter their rank its pretty bullish and they should fix it.
I play on 30 fps and 50 ping so i wont even try lol

I don't know who Tian is, but what about Insec? The guy who literally invented the move named after him: the insecs lol. An example if you don't know what I'm refering to (and/or live under a rock): Q > Ward - W > R - Flash > Q (Q the dude, ward hop in front of him, start the kick animation, flash behind the dude to kick him in your team, then Q again to follow him back to your team. This is known as a safe Flash insec).

We accept Lee Sin although he is op because it really takes time and practice to master the champion. So if I get outplayed by a Lee Sin I am OK with it because it really needs skill to play and not just right click and spam q (i am looking at you master yi mains). Anyway I am glad that Bruce Lee made it to the game.
Yea at least he had to hit his Q not like Yi or Garen who just stupidly run at you full speed and smash you to death if they happen to get even 1 kill over you
Def not OP, but yeah a high skill ceiling that rewards great mechanics
While I ban him literally every single game, the only problem I have with him is how his ult has a mini-stun before it actually kicks you. I can press flash before the animation even starts but that stun simply ENSURES you get kicked (and don't get your flash off) in the direction he wants you to go.
I appreciate the amount of skill that goes into playing a good Lee, and back then (when people were generally worse at the game) that stun might've been neccessary, but in current league it just feels plain cheap, reacting instantly and still getting punished, especially since, unless you're tanky you get oneshot.

@@bluezenith6631 Yes but frankly unlike malz/morde/ww that still doesn't get rid of the kick. So either I use my 2nd summoner with the cleanse/1300 gold qss or still get fked.
Just because I can technically cleanse it doesn't mean it's a good choice. Especially coupled with the reaction time needed to cleanse the small root before the kick.

Same thing with riven. idk why exactly you would like to have a few champs that can cancel their animation more or less whenever they want to and still deal their dmg and get their abilities on you while others have to wait until their animations are finished to cast another one...
