you touched on a good subject with these scallopped darts. whenever you think a rear scallop would suit you, make sure to test the darts if you can before buying them. if its just a few millimeters off from where you naturally would grip the dart, it won't feel right. usually i just dont like these scallops, but as i grip on the very rear section of all dart, i like a rear straight taper. or just a straight barrel with grip going all the way to the stem. always consider these things before buying, scallops aren't for everyone, even though it seems a good idea to have a solid point of reference, and a consistent grip, it might not be where you feel good gripping it...
Thanks! If the scallop was a few mm towards the front it would have worked a lot better for me. Great darts though. I didn't mind gripping them right in the middle. Worked well 👍

One of the better looking set of darts I've seen in a long time and yeah we know the colors going to go away pretty quick but damn they look good out of the package I definitely like the zoom in zoom out on your grip that's something maybe you should keep shows people your placement enjoyed it man thank you worldwide catch you on the next one

Just got these in the mail today in 23g and they are nice. They fly straight and smooth and the grip is sweet 👍🏻
I’m new at darts and purchased Harrows ACE rubber grip darts. They throw well. I’ve purchased 3 more different sets of darts but keep coming back to the barrel and rubber grips of the ACE darts. What I like of the barrel is that it grows slightly in width towards the tip giving me a consistent hold of the darts.
Love Harrows super grip stems and flights.

I just goto the 22 gram version of these. I replaced the points with the Winmau Freeflo Dart Points 35mm - Black - Re-Grooved. Along with the Prima Dart Case. I love them, think they just might be my main darts now.

@@WorldwideDarts I went from 21g down to 18g with steel point conversion. Im trying to get used to the weight change. I really like the way the darts are flying to the board. A+ so far.

Very impressive quality from harrows for the price.
Ordered mine today. Hope i can test them soon. The shape is what i like the most. I'm used to the first Wolfram 97's and those a nearly shaped the same, with even more grip. It was so easy to group em together really tight, but let's see how the flights and barrels hold up with the standard points. They'll fit in perfectly into my Harrows collection, where beside the Wolfram's, the Aura A3 23gr. are my favorite.

Thanks. I know that most CZcamsr's get kickbacks from links but I have never received a single penny from any link I've provided. My main goal is to make sure that the viewers get the best deals possible so that's why I'm usually linking Darts Corner. I'm happy enough with the occasional free set of darts but I buy the vast majority for these reviews. Out of all of the darts that you have reviewed up till now, these from a year ago I think is my favorite looking darts. I have an idea of where I would grip them part of my finger and thumb would be all the widest part ever so Slightly to the rear of the scallop. As far as luxe go these are fantastic. When you hit the three bull’s-eyes where were you gripping the darts then ?

My flights look a bit battered, how bad do they have to get before they start effecting performance? Another great video Worldwide.
Hard to say but I wouldn't let them get too bad. You can definitely notice a difference when you put new flights on though. I bet the first few turns they go high.

Designa just had a dart VERY similar to them but it appears they sold out.

Hey World Wide...I don't know bud I can't do scallops and i am a rear gripper. I have tried with winmau snipers and yeah. But another awesome review and I agree the new launch by Harrows is amazing. I am curious to know what you will think of the Harrows Infernos. Though I have noticed from the I think 2019 launch nobody has done the Harrows Quantum or Plexus. Again man great job. One thing I noticed with the apex points and like the target storm points once they are in they look longer than they are. in my honest opinion.

If you had to choose between those darts or a Loxley Robin 2 set, which one do you choose? I'm hesitating so hard 😂 ( I'm a 21gr mid/low griper)
I think the Loxley darts are more for the collection. At 55mm long and oddly shaped they might not be for everyone.
Good looking darts but don't think they would suit me. Question...what tapered points in your opinion are the most durable and break the least?
That's a tough one Jules. I think the Harrows points in this video have a good reputation. I know that I've heard of Target Storm points breaking but I do suspect it has a lot to do with how heavy the dart is and who repointed it. I'm going to have a video this weekend talking about the #1 biggest mistake when it comes to repointing darts. Might be worth a watch
Worldwide do you think the heavier the dart the more force it takes to throw a dart?
That's a great question and I'm unsure if I can give you a correct answer but I'll try my best based on personal experience. I just reviewed a 32g Ryan Searle dart and I found it extremely easy to throw. It seemed like I was using LESS force to get it to the board. It also had standard sized flights and that gave the dart a bit more loft.
So I think it's the opposite to be honest. A lighter dart might take a bit more force... but again, it depends more on the flights. I use a small flight and they get to the board in a HURRY!
I do think a lighter dart is more accurate over a long distance though. A heavier dart might be easier to throw for a few turns or a few legs but over a best of 11 I think most players will struggle to stay consistent with a heavy dart. Look at the top 32 players in the PDC. They use a dart that weighs 22 grams on average.
@@WorldwideDarts it really does seem to be a lot of factors involved with this. It's weird like if I was shot putting you would think the lighter ball would go further then a heavier ball with the same force used to throw the ball. Would you happen to know if the gold color is removable with acetone? I know the black is titanium nitride but not sure about the gold.
Yes, the gold is a coating so it's not coming off easy. I'm not sure what chemical removes a coating but it would have to be something really harsh like oven cleaner. Not worth doing that imo

The coating for sure doesn't hold up. I have been playing with this set for 2 months and I am now switching to something else. I front to mid grip and just can't seem to find it with these.
