Great review. Nice way to kick off the week. This was actually the only set that really interested me at all in their launch. Would probably pick these up, but eyeing a couple sets of the Winmau launch first.

I got these in 23g. Great grip, great quality - but two issues. I’ve hit my flights a good few times with that lip and at least in 23g they are quite rear weighted. Because of this I’m not yet throwing them well, especially after being used to centre weighted darts.

That’s definitely an ergonomic shape, I tried this shape with the Voks ultra-slim, and then later a set of Sherrock barrels, but when I would get tired or sloppy they would start to spin like crazy. Not for me, but the no lip deserves praise for sure! Thanks for the review.

I just bought the last set harrows combat dart flights, these are my favorite flights by far I wonder if someone can get ahold of harrows and tell them to make them again😊
Excellent review and very nice darts... On 66 I think the best way is t14 d12 and on 76 i wouldn't want to leave 60 with two darts under pressure because the bust is very close 🤣
I agree with T14. I personally prefer D12 over D18. Breaks down better. With 76 I think most recreational players would have better luck going 16's in case of a miss to the left or right.
They look similar to target cult 01, but half the price! I already ordered them 😊
MUCH nicer than the Cult's right? All that fancy machining and coatings on the Cult won't make anyone a better player. 👍🏻
Hey Worldwide, another great review thanks for that. Would you think these darts would suit front grippers? I throw mostly Harrows Wolfram which also have a tapered front. Keep up the great reviews!
It's going to be a bit awkward for front grippers I think.
Nicely finished darts.. can’t go too thin near the point or it would be a weak point.🤔.. speaking of nicely finished, got to get cord covers for the wall clock 👍👍..

Noticed that WINMAU SICARIO STRAIGHT have no lip! Pricey though, $105 at dart shopper. And the lightest 22g out of stock.
The Sicario come with no lip specialty points. Dart Shopper is the absolute worst place to buy Winmau stuff. The same darts are $71 at Double Top Darts and that's before adding in the discount code.
Hmmmmm, maybe a video with five trips to the oche with a no lip dart, then 5 trips with a 'regular' dart of similar weight that has a lip and compare flights. Just a thought. Cool video and thank you for the discount code, may use it shortly. Thank you, sir.
That was after about 40 minutes of playing. I played an addition 20 minutes or so after the review then I showed the flights. Maybe later on today I'll play with some darts that have a lip and take a pic of the flights after.

Do you pay any other amount to receive your shipment from Double Top Darts besides the shipping fee and ex vat price? What is the fee for converting dollars to pounds?
Do you think there is a difference between your conditions as a resident of U.S. and a resident of Canada in this regard? For example, paying any customs fees, duties or taxes that are not included in your purchase invoice?
My brother believes that if he buys from England, he has to pay almost double the price of every product therefore, he prefers to buy only from Dart Shoppers. I would be grateful if you have any information in this field, clarify the matter for me. Good luck...
Here in the USA I have never once been hit with any sort of import or any other hidden fee. I used to have a bank card that would charge me a conversion fee of somewhere around 50 cents but I now use Paypal and don't get charged. I've also made some really large purchases in the past but it's always been under $1000.
I know plenty of people from Canada that order overseas and only very, very rarely do they get hit with import fees. The key there is keeping the orders small. If you order a single set of darts the chances of paying an import fee are just incredibly slim. So... what your brother believes and what actually happens are two different things.

I'm so backed up with reviews I have to do it would be a hot minute before I ever got to it.
Have you attempted to repoint these with longer points? I am curious as to how well that nose cone will hold up. 90% it should be ok but you never can predict.
I have not. As long as someone is careful while they apply force in repointing the point I think it should be okay. The front end does seem like it could possibly chip though. For example, if you had a really soft dartboard and the front end repeatedly bashed into the spider. That wouldn't be good.
i have these in 23g and repointed them as soon as i got them , you just have to make sure they are in line perfectley before winding in
76 for me is double 18 double top if i hit single 18 another 18 and double top i do weird checkouts lol
Best way imo for 66 is T14 -D12

I think players who like d16/d8 go bull route on 66... if you got single bull you leave 41, then 9 d16. I like to go t14, if you hit a single i go 12 tops
When playing 501 there is no such thing as a single bull. It's 25 points. A bullseye is worth 50 points and if you were to double it, it would be worth 100 points so there's no double bull either. That's cricket lingo.

The shape is a bit weird for me. Looks like the Fallon Sherrock darts. In my opinion, darts without the lip should be a new standard on all modern darts.
I mentioned her name right after the 46 checkout and yes, the no lip feature should start being a common feature 👍🏻
Seems like it would be difficult to change points.
It would be a bit unnerving since the tungsten is so thin up front. Not a great design

I do have a comment regarding the “seamless transition” from point to barrel. ONE80 darts has perfected this issue with their machining capabilities. Then there are the specialty points everyone makes anymore.
In my opinion there needs to be ZERO lip to be effective. Sure it is WAY better than the standard lip on a standard set of darts, however Harrows still has enough lip that you can catch your fingernail on it. Between their specialty point and barrel there should be nothing. It’s like going 95% on a project and just calling it good enough.
I do however like the set of darts reviewed here.
100% agree. One80 has a rounded transition. It makes it extremely difficult for me to measure the barrel length because there is literally no lip for the digital calipers to catch on. These aren't perfect but it's better than most darts.
