Amazing series! I played a wizard and it does suck that all the cool spells are worse than rock sling and magic pebble. Ended up dual wielding moonlight greatswords cause running around spamming rock sling is not very fun :(

I'm convinced the amount of damage from a riposte or whatever after a stagger is a set number instead of a percentage. So it's the one thing that never scaled.
Great series, loved every episode, you and Ben are a great combo.

My two cents for best old mentor:
The first great one that springs to mind is Uncle Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender. He's a great father to both Zuko and his biological son, a brilliant strategist, and secretly a real badass.
Dishonorable mentions:
Gandalf is a terrible mentor. He constantly abandons his allies, doesn't teach them anything, always arrives late, and is way too stingy with his spell slots.
Yoda is okay but falls into the old Jedi trap of sitting around doing fuckall while the empire commits its atrocities, and tries to get Luke to do the same.

They won’t. They only focused on the necessary fights (and a bit of grinding at the start). We might only see 30 mins (longer for members) but each video is hours of recording edited down. If they were to do the hagitree and/or the volcano, that’s extra hours they would need to put in for one or two 30 min videos

I don’t know anything about Elden ring but the chaos of Bom and Ten made this one of my favs.

This was so fun to watch! I really hope they do this again (yes, i mean this exact same thing), maybe with magic use from the start to mix it up (or not). But i feel like the beginning, while funny, was a bit underwhelming as to the enemies. I mean the deer and eagle were extremely funny but i wish all the bosses were actual enemies that fought back. Granted that sequels arent that prevalent in the content creation world and the mod seemed to crash a lot which im sure was frustrating so at this point it's just pure hope.
Still, enjoyed the series immensely!

I'd say if you have to die as a mentor to get your training and/or teachings across I'd say that's a pretty big negative in 'the being a great mentor department'. I think it should be noted, however, that their apprentice or mentee could also just be terrible so it doesn't necessarily disqualify them.

Oooh cool. The mod gave them the fake Mogh that’s immune to bleed. IMO the real Mogh should be immune too.
Real Mogh basically worships a BDSM god lol. That's why he's not immune to bleed.
@@pegusus12346 I need a mod for giving Mogh a third phase where he’s completely invincible at 1 HP, and now you have to fight the Formless Mother who is now visible as a large bloody scar floating stationary at the steps leading up to Miquella’s egg. It has no moves but constantly regenerates HP.
I’m also just coping hard and want my boy Mogh to get the justice he deserves. Every time I’ve fought him, (besides my blind first attempt) I’ve killed him before he’s able to get use his signature move. He’s definitely a glass cannon boss, just not as egregious as the Cemetery Shade(s).
Fighting Mohg with a fire blood weapon. Never change Bom and Tem.
The weirdest part is he’s usually super weak to bleed, and this mod accidentally fixed that.
The best swordsman is Mihawk, or Red hair Shanks, one piece. They cleave mountains in half with ease! Lol I guess, there is always that argument that Mihawk is a swordsmen, and Shanks uses a sword, but still.
Also, that end shot of Tom'n'Ben, the harry gut-born. Hot.

It’s very disappointing that the last Mohg wasn’t “real” Mohg, would have made the last gauntlet interesting, or maybe just another reset.
