- I ASKED INSTAGRAM FOR SUGGESTIONS AND SEVERAL PEOPLE SUGGESTED THIS. SO.
Here is a Dolores Abernathy tutorial------ and then also some general weirdness. If you're not interested in sewing this, at least watch the last couple minutes. I worked really hard editing it. I'm talking blood sweat and tears, people (minus the blood, sweat... and the tears.I did get a headache while making it though).

My kids had pet rats, once we had a big christmas dinner, and someone moved the cage out of the way, and the rats got hold of the curtains and pulled them inte the cage and chewed trough them to make bedding...

the only way you're going to get better at sewing is to sew. Pick a cheap ass pattern from walmart or online, find some trusty bedsheets or fabric or whatever, and let your heart be content to just stitch together something. If you dont like it

Just wanted to say that I love you and you are so funny! I love sewing and my grandmother was a seamstress, my aunt tried to teach me to sew...but i usually just end up winging it and not measuring anything like you do haha. I also resort to using stitch witchery a lot because I don't like bothering my roommate with my sewing machine at odd hours of the night. :)

My broke 13 year old self hand sewed a dress for my cousin. I don’t have an iron or any of the necessary items to do sewing with so I ended up hemming the skirt with some hemming tape and a hair iron.
